it's not a matter of being cynic, what if someone teaches you how to change your IP and you now use it to scam someone nko?. . .knowledge is a burden, it's that simple. . .i cant think of many sensible reasons why anyone would want to change his/her IP address

I understand your suspicions but there surely must be some honest guys with little IT knowledge wanting to change their IP address for wholesome reasons only.
Basically if the poster werea crook, he would find a way of obtaining the information if he is shunned here. On the other hand, he looks genuine. And i dont think it is illegal to disclose methods of changing IP adds.

what if the poster was 'the seeker'? and he was trying to learn how to change his IP so he wouldn't be caught the same way he was caught last time?

i dont know how you can tell the OP is on the 'up n up' from a single statement. . .

i made room for the poster being legit, that's why i asked for a reason, if i thought or knew OP was up to something fishy, i wouldn't have bothered myself.

like i stated earlier, the information he asked for isn't particularly special, however, if i'm going to teach someone to do something that could be used for illegal purposes, dont you think I have a right to seek assurance of some sort that it wouldnt be used wrongly?

to change IP addy is very easy, easier than you think, but one must be sure there is no hidden agenda. the truth is either i teach you trusting that you will use it for good reason or u get someone to teach you and probably open your eyes to the bad part.
anyway we learn everyday, i was taught too and if my teacher had been thinking i will use it for bad things i will still be ignorant.

The internet connection I use is in my office. Because of this availability I deposited money in a casino to play.
When not in money Mode this my office connection can enter and play, but when I attempt to connect the money real life play, I am

The company connection uses a proxy and when I uncheck the proxy the connection does not go.

Do you need to change internet ip address on your PC?
There are two types of ip available.
1.Static ip
2.Dynamic ip.
If you are using static,you can't change your ip without your internet service provider permission.If you have dynamic ip address,it's possible to change your ip address.Once reset your modem connection .Your modem set by new ip or else try to keep the following instructions for change your ip on windows 7 using command prompt
1.Go -> Start
2.Run ->cmd
In the command prompt, type in ipconfig /release
Then type in ipconfig /renew .If you want to check what ip address you have,visit this site ip-details.com
