Recently, my manager employs a lady who is just barely some months experience on the job and also gave her higher position than us that even have more than 10yrs experience . Whereas our line of job is a technical job that require hand skillfulness and experience. The painful and more annoying part is that , now we the older staff are the on doing this newly employed lady's job because she cannot stand on her own and get the job done due to she's still novice and beginner in the job

My question is why will company employs someone into more higher position and more pay and still expect older staffs earning less to teach the person the job?

There was a time when managers knew every aspect of the jobs their employees did. This is because they started with the company doing the job and were eventually promoted to oversee the workers. These days, loyalty isn’t rewarded and people are often brought in from outside the company to fill manageent positions. These managers may have a general idea of what their people do but they can’t fill in, in a pinch, if their team needs help because they don’t know the intricacies of the job.

Because these outsiders are “busy” protecting their cushy jobs and taking credit for the work their employees do, they rely on knowledgeable employees to train the newbies. There are three employees who have been with the company for at least a year on my “team”, and my feckless leader has each of us train newbies in certain aspects of the job. Other companies may have a new hire shadow a senior employee, or designate a long-time employee to mentor new employees. It’s a fairly common practice because, truth be told, middle managers are beyong useless and not very intelligent.
