What Are My Chances Of Getting A Refund? by Olayinka8793(m): 9:48pm On May 08
I recently ordered and got a set of 4 2000mah lithium batteries from Jumia to power my battery clippers.
Upon receiving the item, I proceed to test two of them on my clipper but they failed to power it, indicating incompatibility or lack of capacity.
Please note that the battery specifications of the old worn out battery and the new ones I bought from Jumia are exactly the same.

I immediately initiated a return claim which was acknowledged and approved.

However, I am having doubts on whether, upon subjected to review, my return claim can be validated and a refund initiated.
This is because, in the course of trying to test the batteries, I had to break the paper seal/enclosure in which the batteries were wrapped in order to bring them out.

I don't want to waste time and resources traveling to the pickup station to return the item knowing fully well that I have a slim chance of being refunded considering I already broke the battery package.

Two of the batteries are still intact in their package/enclosure, while the two I tested have their enclosure broken before I could remove them.

I will appreciate informed advises because I have just 3 days to initiate the return.

Whether you break the seal or not
Just return it before the due date
You can take it to the pickup station
