I drove past a Mega petrol station just now and the queue I saw there shocked me.
Even big men with big jeeps are in the queue which is so long that even 4 hours will not be enough to get to your turn.

The current Government is presently humbling everybody that even its diehard supporters are currently in pains and seeking for succour.

The price of fuel at Mega petrol stations are cheaper than others who now sell for between 800 naira to 1000 naira.

Even with an increase in minimum wage ,a public servant will still spend all his money buying fuel if he owns a car and that is why most public servants have dropped their cars at home.

On the flip side, please everyone should take care of him or herself, eat healthy,go for exercise, relax when you need to and once in a while take yourself out.

Stay healthy and may God continue to bless us all.

Nope. It's just another reality of life - we deal with it, not act like it's never been seen b4

Have you seen a reality of life of 1000 naira per liter of fuel before?

Yes, as in below

The harsh fact is that almost all our neighbours are paying way above N1000.

Nigeria does not have the cash to keep fuel forever cheap. Make we be honest...this is not about agbado, and even the agbado government is spending trillions to avoid telling themselves the truth.

The painful thing is that if we cut government spending and stop the nasty corruption that is affecting us, the money raised won't be enough to pay for subsides long term. Also, the amount we earn from crude...80% of our earnings...is not enough.

Either we face the truth...or we keep throwing money down a bottomless pit.

We have been told repeatedly since the 1980's...we no wan hear.

To all those that have quoted me over this fuel thing...here is why I talk the way I talk

The fuel subsidy dilema

Also, if you want to call me APC supporter, and all sorts of names , fine. Just know that at the end, we cannot sustain subsidy. It has nothing to do with the party in power, and everything to do with our precarious fiscal situation.

And if you are quoting me to abuse me, just know that I have never abused you, and you can disagree without abusing me, as some have done here.

Can you compare the percentage increase in the price of gas in America to what we have in Nigeria?
And also are you really comparing America and Nigeria?
Well I understand alot of you are being paid to defend an ineffective Government in Nigeria as you are just doing your job.

Nothing new, this was 49 years ago. una go curse tinubu tire. Nigeria can't work. The elites have high jacked it since independence thereby recruiting their friends, friends of friends, families, friends of families, replacing them with friends, concubines, bastards, friends of concubines, grand children, cousins and so on and the circle continues. As long as the present form of government is used in Nigeria, no president, or the one to be can ever repair it. None. To me, regional government is much better and competitive.

By the way, mega stations are way cheaper, and most times, more than independent marketers own in the range of 100 and above per liter, and yet you are shortchanged. That's why you see those queues.

citizens are not ready. No genuine freedom fighters. The elites know how to play the games. Among them are the cabals that plant those politicians. The ones that are ready to lead the fights are either bought, or invited to the tea party.
But one day, it will lead everyone to the wall of no return, then we will see their escape routes. The country is too big for someone and his few teams to control. But will some certain people allow restructuring, regional government or resource control?

I bought petrol at 780 naira per litre in Aba yesterday, no queue.

THEY ARE ALL LOOKING FOR CHEAPER PRICES. I didn't see any significant difference between Major Marketer's prices (NNPC- 617, TOTAL - 655 in Abuja for example) and other marketers selling for 680.

The stress will even humble someone. SMH! I will rather buy 680 without stress than 617 with queue, soldier slapping you, Keke guys scratching your car, Abuja Taxi Men swearing for your innocent PAPA in the village.

............that is why most public servants have dropped their cars at home.
Some very developed countries abroad do this.
80% of workers in New York City leave their cars at home and take buses and trains to work on a daily basis.

Average minimum wage per hour in America is $14. So an average American on minimum wage is spending less than half of an hour pay to buy a gallon of patrol, In Nigeria were minimum wage is 30,000 naira one would be spending a whole days pay to buy same 1 litre of petrol. So how does the comparison work oga?

I am curious o, those who said you can enjoy Nigeria when there is money, do you still hold that view? Remember, there are other black-dominated countries where fuel scarcity is non-existent. So, the notion of being where people who look like you doesn't hold.
