LexngtonSteele:What fools like you fail to understand is that governance is not all about shinny white elephant projects. Governance is firstly about tackling the basics after a proper Needs Impact Assessment of what the people need the most. This is why you criticize Obi who raised HDI of the people and praise Umahi who did the opposite. When Obi came to Anambra the state was riddled with poor education, poor healthcare and lack of basic amenities like roads, pipe water, etc. He worked with the Millennium Development Goals as at then, built tons of rural roads and bridges, and took Anambra from 28th position to 1st in Education. He also won an award for being the best governor to implement the Millennium Development Goals. The boy child barely received basic education in Anambra which he improved. Yet, you call him a failure. For dunderheads like you, he would have been a great governor if he abandoned the basic things the people needed then to embark on white elephant projects which wouldn't have a direct positive impact on the people. Sometimes I wonder if you guys are really educated. Even if you aren't, is common sense also this expensive? The majority of the people he governed said he did well, yet you who isn't from there is trying to tell them who performed better. Many of these governors only built roads in their town and LGA. But Obi touched all areas both those who voted and didn't vote for him. He built all the major interconnecting roads still standing in my town to date. Make una get sense |
Politics / Re: Tinubu Likely To Get Ministers’ Performance Record This Week by aariwa(m): 12:54pm |
Is he expecting a stellar performance from the incompetent quacks he surrounded himself with? Directing underground criminal activities to mob leaders in drug empires and bribery with stolen money to get what you want is vastly different from good governance and national development. The later is more difficult as it requires more mental capacity to achieve which unfortunately tinubu doesn’t have and why Nigerians didn’t vote him until Mahmoud did the unexpected |

SIRTee15:no evidence Jesus existed. The Roman who were in charge of where he lived have no records of him. It is foolishness to believe God sent his son here to save the world. Meanwhile sin and immorality has increased 100 folds since then. 1 Like |

The Iranian President's helicopter that crashed was unfit to fly - open data analyst Julian Röpke. The journalist himself pilots small planes as an amateur pilot. According to him, Ebrahim Raisi was flying in an American Bell 212 helicopter built in the 1990s. Such machines were developed back in the 1960s. The aircraft was unsuitable for flight in difficult weather conditions, which turned out to be “suicide” for the crew and passengers. “If the reports are correct, Raisi was flying the Bell 212 in weather conditions that clearly did not comply with visual flight rules,” Roepke writes. - It's just suicide. <...> The helicopter was unsuitable for flights in difficult weather conditions. The helicopter was originally used by the Iranian Air Force, but was later repainted to give it a more “civilian” look.” |

Badmashiii: If the masses do not have control over who becomes the President, then who does? If you and I and others do not vote, how can the President get into the position? You must all admit the truth of voting sentimentally. The truth remains that of all the candidates, BAT was the worst. Now we are not looking at his credentials in Lagos. We are looking at APC and it’s failed policies since 2015. Tinubu stated clearly that he would continue Buhari’s legacies. One of them was hunger. Has he not continued? On his Inauguration Day, he made the pronouncement that put people’s financiers in shambles and finally sent millions into abject poverty. Obi certainly towered miles ahead of Tinubu. Now some of you said that he was a trader. Looking at it from that point of view, was it not clear that his policies would favour traders, including himself? If it favored trade, would that not put for on more tables? With no agriculture and security, how can a country become great? Do you become great by taxing the poor harder, who have nothing in the first place to pay? |
