The Imo House of Assembly has banned any further protest in the state.

It warned protests have become dangerous events exposing residents to danger in Imo.

The Assembly also warned the PDP to stop crying wolf over the ruling of the Apex Court on Tuesday 14th January on the governorship election in the state.

The lawmakers also passed a vote of confidence on Governor Hope Uzondinma and the Supreme Court.

Good one from the governor.
How can they subject the state to constant tension ?

If they can't accept the ruling of the court in Imo, then they must reject the rulings of the court in Bayelsa

An average black man is a terrible being. People have right to protest for God's sake. The supreme Court has ruled in this country that you don't need to obtain any permit to protest.

If people lives are in danger, it is the work of the police to safeguard them.

One thing I have observed in Nigeria is that if it's happening to "us" it's an injustice. But if "we" are the one doing it to people, it's allowed. Bunch of hypocrites!

shocked Plain stupidity! Vote of confidence on a supreme court that passed the controversial ruling on Imo guber? Does these cross carpeting political prostitutes fully understand the fundamental human rights to peaceful association & expression of opinion?

Shambolic rogues.

Ozodimgba may not end well. Let him go and learn from Ohakim and Rochas who failed to install his son-in-law and now suffers HBP.

If he thinks the forces that put him there, will keep him there forever, he is a joker.

What if Supreme Court decides upturn their verdict by returning Power back to Ihedioha, those Ashawo Imo State Lawmakers that defected to APC, will they remain at APC??

Do they have that right

How can a peaceful protest cause harm to the people of Imo State

Even Hope Uzodinma is afraid of the unity in strength of the people undecided

His conscience knows that even the judgement is faulty!!!

He's afraid that his dream will be shattered just like the one of Bayelsa

These reps don collect money (big money) shall the people now keep quiet

Worthless ban. Protest (peaceful) is a freedom of speech enshrined in the Nigeria constitution. You don't have the power to ban or suspend it.
