This may be a long shot, but if cars seized from fraudsters and written off custom imported cars are converted to police patrol cars, we would be saving a lot of money alongside not lacking patrol cars for proper security... we could be having two cops to a vehicle..

We have better looking cars, it increases the confidence of the police officers, drastically reduces overhead cost on vehicles, reduces the depreciation time of vehicles from 4yrs to 2yrs due to excess and its gifted on full depreciation to the officers whom used the vehicles.
Nice one. In fact you think out of box.

1-2= 7 by implication, remove 1on top 7, put it in front of it, then you have, 1-2= -1, therefore, 1+1= 2, then, 2=2 final answer. The rest for the mathematicians in the house.

I believe after Hilda Baci achievement with her efforts to break the Guinness Book of Records, many people have tried to come up with one effort or the other. I nurture this vegetable three to break the Guinness Book of records. It is far above 7 feet tall, which I believe no single vegetable tree somewhere else can this be tall.

Politics / Re: Message To Igbo People In Lagos. by fjjc(m): 12:12am On Mar 19, 2023
[quote author=elefind post=121859029]MESSAGE TO IGBO PEOPLE IN LAGOS.

One of the few lessons I learnt from today's gubernatorial election in Lagos, is that I have no reason to engage in local politics among the indigenous people of Lagos. I think this should be my last time to campaign for any governorship candidate in Lagos. I will urge all Igbo people resident in Lagos to withdraw from supporting or voting for any gubernatorial candidate of any party during gubernatorial elections in Lagos. We need to give the Yoruba people chance to select or elect whoever they like to govern them. We will support whoever they elected as their governor. Tribalism and ethnic sentiments are real in Nigeria.

If we want to campaign for a gubernatorial candidate, lets campaign for any candidate of our choice contesting for elective position in our various states of origin even though we lives in Lagos. This is not only applicable to Lagos but all the Yoruba and non Igbo states. Remember that we Igbo people has ability to relate with anybody even if they elected king Nebuchadnezzar, it is not our business but we will relate with the governor and still get what we wanted.

We might be tempted to support a particular candidate we felt is better than whom the indigenous Yoruba people felt is their choice. But we must resist every attempt to endorse anyone of them. It is time we start to disassociate ourselves from any Yoruba politician hoping to win an election with the block votes of Igbo people living in Lagos. Enough of this please. Let him go and convince his fellow Yoruba people to vote for him and stop hoping to win election with our votes. The Yoruba people must stop seeing every election in Lagos as contest between the Igbo people and the Yorubas.

It is also high time Igbo people begin to transfer their polling units to Southeast for those of us living outside Igboland but would like to participate in governorship election of our state. We will travel down to Southeast when it is time to elect president and the governors. But if we can't transfer our polling units to SOUTHEAST, let's stop voting during gubernatorial election in each state of the federation. But we can go out and vote for our favorite presidential candidate.

It is obvious that many Yoruba people that supported Peter Obi during presidential election did so because of fear of Tinubu's Muslim/Muslim ticket. They voted Peter Obi not because they like him, it is because he is more preferred than having Tinubu and Shettima in Aso Rock . If another popular Southwestern politician was contesting for presidency with Muslim/Christian ticket, they would have voted him than voting Peter Obi. Only few Yorubas are supporting Peter Obi based on his capacity and competence.

Today's gubernatorial election was a total waste of taxpayers money. This is not an election. Now I agree that NIGERIA is a failed state. Police couldn't even protect the themselves not to talk of protecting the voters .

As for me, let Peter Obi withdraw his court case against INEC and APC . Let him concentrate on snatching all Southeastern states from our good-for-nothing politicians and raise a crop of 21st century politicians that will govern all the states in Igbo land and turn them into livable and prosperous states.

Many Nigerians are not ready for real change. They wanted to change failures we have in Aso Rock as leaders but they never wanted to change same corrupt politicians operating in their states.
Copied[/quote
It is obvious truth no Igbo state in today Nigeria will allow non Igbo to contest election in their states let dream of winning an election

Politics / Re: These Set Of Yorubas That Bring Ethnicity Into Burning Issues In Nigeria by fjjc(m): 7:45pm On Mar 13, 2023
Chimok:
For those Yorubas Nigeria can burn for all they care, Yoruba comes first. that's all that matter to them. Just like in the recent presidential election, they all know Tinubu is the worst man for the job but because it make them feel relevant, that's all that matters.
Funny enough, majority of these Yorubas are in the low income earning strata of the society, Most are outrightly jobless and are hardly sure of where their next meal will come from These set of Yorubas are sadly in the majority.

There are those Yorubas who are open-minded. All they need is a better society for all and these set are in the higher income strata. Most of them made their money by themselves without political patronages - Fals, Macroni etc.

This anomaly has been there for decades and leaves a very sour taste about Yorubas among other Nigerians. Most Nigerians on account of this see Yorubas as backstabbers, people that can never be trusted.

The question is why has this continued unmitigated. In recent times this anomaly has continued to rear its ugly heads . The Endsars movement failed because of these set of Yorubas. They from onset constitute patt of the struggle but retrace to tribalism immediately the ethnic button is pressed by their leaders. You see lots and lots of them in this platform and other social media channels. They hardly indulge in open conversations but tribal jibes and bigotry.
They are worst than boko haram because they are the ones used to entrench bad leadership.
For those Yoruba pastors and followers that mobilised against Tinubu in the name of M-M ticket una see nan life. Since they know you people may not likely vote their candidate that can not speak Yoruba but can speak Igbo fluently and a second in command of IPOB, they are now dishing insult on you people. Una see una life.

The mother of all protest is loading. Just wait till after governorship and house elections.

Stock your house with enough foodstuffs for those that will stay at home.

Protest is a constitutional duty for all patriotic citizens when gross injustice is perceived and done.

Anybody that refuses to protest against injustice, have agreed to be a slave to tyranny.

If soldiers gbabu you EndSar will be a joke.
