So, for some weeks now, I've been monitoring a particular investment page on Instagram. The page looked so real that even as smart as I am, I could recommend it. They relate with their thousands of followers well, reply comment and post often.
Last week, I decided to message them and ask how I can invest. They responded well in a professional manner. At the end, I intended to trade with 50k at first. The account number sent was a business account, not personal account. I was happy at last I made mama proud.. 😂😂😂before sending the money, something prompted me to ask for their phone number, just as a security measure. I didn't know it was the phone number that will save me.

I just added the phone number on my contacts and wanted to give it a call. Lo and behold, Truecaller brought it as a scammer number...

Yeeeee!!!!!! I was shocked.. likeeee... I rechecked and rechecked to be sure, omoooo, Truecaller said it was a scammer number ....

As I went back to Instagram, I then noticed the message was on vanish mode... Ahhhh... That's how my 50k would have gone... If not for Truecaller... If you no get Truecaller for phone, you're on a long thing.

These guys are relentless. They keep devising new ways to scam people. Thank God for truecaller, your money would have gone for vanishing !

If you use an android phone and you have Truecaller installed on your phone, you would have known who is calling as Truecaller will flag such number as spam. I even recommend that all android users use the Truecaller dialer as the default calling app, this will save a great deal.

I use an iPhone as my main phone and I don't answer a call from an unknown number until I have checked the number on TC. This has saved me a great deal from scam callers and wrong number callers
