Jesus Predicted His Death And Resurrection In The Quran by Ken4Christ: 9:17pm On May 01
Sura 19:34
Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive.

The verse above reveals Jesus predicted his death and resurrection. So, how come another portion said he didn't really die. So, did he lie as a Prophet in the Quran?

Please, Muslims should come and defend this ooo.

You just want to argue as always.
You have posited in other posts that Jesus is God.

Why is the prayer of Jesus of the Qur'an excites you?

Answer my question. Why did your Quran say that Jesus didn't die. That Allah made it appear so?

Yet it says that Jesus is Messiah 11 times in the Quran. If he didn't die, how did he save mankind?

Again, how can you believe the time of someone who was born over 500 years after the incident took place and reject the testimonies of those present? Is it not foolishness?
Re: Jesus Predicted His Death And Resurrection In The Quran by Ken4Christ: 6:47am On May 02
Certain statements made in the Quran are designed to ensure Muslims never see the light which is in Jesus alone.

However, a few other statements points to that light - Jesus.

If Jesus didn't die, then no one is saved. Salvation is in the blood he shed.

Don't all people know that they will eventually die on Earth?

Pathetic you try to make a mountain of this. Is this not simply a saying, prayer and well wishing for a good earthly life and after life?

Is the following wrong?

A messiah or messias (Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ, romanized: māšīaḥ; Greek: μεσσίας, messías; Arabic: مسيح, masīḥ; lit. ‘the anointed one’) is a saviour or liberator of a group of people.

Here is the tafsir for better understanding

(19:33) Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive."

This speech in the cradle by Jesus was the sign to which the angel referred in( Ayat 21). As Allah intended to punish the children of Israel for their continuous wicked ways and evil deeds, He made a pious virgin girl of the family of Prophet Aaron, who had devoted herself to worship in the Temple under the patronage of Zachariah, bear a child and bring it before her people in order to concentrate the whole attention of the thousands of people assembled there on this extraordinary event. Then He made this new born child speak out even in the cradle that he had been appointed a Prophet. Though they had seen this wonderful sign of Allah, they rejected the Prophethood of Jesus and brought him to the court for crucifixion, and thus incurred the wrath of Allah.

But our people in the slavery religion of allah are against the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and resurrected

Tafsir according to who?

Q19:33And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!

This is his affirmation that `he is a worshipper of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and that he is a creature created by Allah.

He (`Isa) will live, die and be resurrected, just like the other creatures that Allah has created. However, he will have peace in these situations, which are the most difficult situations for Allah's creatures.'

May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him

Messiah means Saviour. The whole human race was under the power of darkness on account of the sin of the first man, Adam. And the Bible says that the wages of sin is death. So, for us to be free from the power of darkness, someone has to die for the entire human race. And Jesus was the only person qualified to die for us. Three reasons he was the only one who could die for us are;

1. He was born of a virgin. So, the sin nature of Adam was not in him. In other words, he was born sinless. And it's only a sinless man that can die for the sinful world.

So, to even said he die makes a mockery of his birth. Why did God look for a virgin to carry that Saviour of the world and he didn't fulfil his mission.

2. He was subjected to the same kind of temptation the first Adam failed. But Jesus didn't fail.

3. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the Old Testament. He was a Jew. He was of the lineage of David. And every other prophecies concerning him was fulfilled.

So, for Quran to say Jesus didn't die is to deny those deceived by such statement of their salvation.

It is faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus that saves a man. If you don't believe he died and rose from the dead, you cannot be saved - Romans 10:9-10.

But Jesus died and rose again. It is foolishness to believe the testimony of someone who was born over 500 years after the event happened and reject the testimonies of several eye witnesses some of which were his disciples.

Please, use your brain and don't be deceived.

Mention just one messianic prophesy that he fulfilled, I will recharge your phone with 5k
Re: Jesus Predicted His Death And Resurrection In The Quran by 22jumpstreet: 8:47pm On May 02
There are about 6 of them. Namely
1 there would be world wise peace just as Isaiah prophesied "national shall not rise against nation,....
2. He will gather all Jews to their ancestral land.
3. The Messiah must be from the tribe of Judah, meaning he must have a father who is from Judah and a mother who is Jewish .
4. He would rebuild the holy temple
5. All Jewish will obey and follow the Torah as it will become effortless to keep it..
6. Universal knowledge of the creator..

Which of them did Jesus fulfil?

You asked for just one. Let me start with three. I will give you more if you want.

Prophecy

Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Fulfillment - Jesus is the only man born of a virgin (seed of the woman)

Matthew 1:18-23.
18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

20  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us

And he bruised the head of Satan - Defeated Satan

Colossians 2:15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

1 John 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

2nd Prophecy

Genesis 22;18  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Fulfillment

Galatians 3:16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

3rd Prophecy

5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Fulfillment

1 Peter 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed

But our people in the slavery religion of allah are against the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and resurrected

From your post relating they rejected the Prophethood of Jesus and brought him to the court for crucifixion, and thus incurred the wrath of Allah.

Does this say Jesus was actually crucified? Or died as a result?

Did Ala-Madudi in his Taysir on Quran 4:157 not say?

...
The fact that they bragged of slaying Jesus, knowing him to be a Messenger of God, shows how bold they had become in their crimes. We have shown in the previous Note that the miracle of his speech in the cradle had let no doubt whatsoever to remain in the minds of the Jews about his Prophethood. Then the clear signs that they witnessed from him (III : 49) were a conclusive proof that he was really a Prophet of God. Therefore their wicked behavior towards him was not the result of any misunderstanding about his Prophethood, but was an intentional crime against the one who had been appointed by Allah as Messenger.

.....

Even according to the Bible, when the Prophet Jeremiah rebuked the Jews on account of their transgressions, they accused him of being in conspiracy with the Chaldeans and traitor against his people and sent him to prison. Likewise had the Jews treated John the Baptist a couple of years before the crucifixion of the Prophet Jesus. They counted John as a Prophet and acknowledged him as one of the most righteous men of their community, but when he criticized Herod (the ruler of Judea) for his evil ways, he was not tolerated. He was first sent to prison, then beheaded on the demand of Herod's beloved, the dancing girl.
It is, therefore, obvious from their record that when they presumed that they had crucified Jesus Christ, they bragged: "We have slain a Messenger of Allah. "
This is another parenthesis.
[b]This verse is explicit on the point that the Prophet Jesus Christ was rescued from crucifixion and that the Christians and the Jews are both wrong in believing that he died on the cross/b]. Ditto Ken4Christ

If your Allah is truly the living God;

1. Why did he wait for about 600 years after Jesus to say that he wasn't crucified? Why didn't he tell the Apostles of Jesus that their Jesus didn't die? Why wait to use a self acclaimed Prophet to reveal that Jesus wasn't crucified?

2. Why couldn't Allah reveal who died in his stead. I thought Allah is all knowing. So, your Allah didn't know who died in the place of Jesus.

Mohammed is not a Prophet from the living God. He was deceived by the revelation he thought came from Angel Gabriel.

He never lived a good moral life. He never lived by example.

A prophet who married a little girl at 6 years and consummated the marriage at 9 years cannot be from God. This is child abuse.

Will you release your 6 years old daughter for marriage? Think about it.

Besides, this information from you Quran is not backed up by any other source.

Even outside the Bible, the story of Jesus crucifixion is contained in other sources. Not even the Roman government who governed them at that time could refute the death and resurrection of Christ.

Why are you people so gullible in this age of enlightenment?

You have been deceived. Please, accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. There is no assurance of salvation in Islam. If you die now, you know you will not make heaven. There will be fear in your heart about where you will end up.

But in Christ, there is full assurance. You know you will make heaven. Why not follow Jesus who love you and died for you and stop believing lies.

Even Mohammed said he is not sure of what will be done with him and his followers - Sura 46:9.

Why are you taking this risk. Hell fire is very hot. The heat can melt iron. The pain is unbearable. Please, receive Jesus now and you will immediately receive a peace in your heart that assures you that you are saved.

I did not see any prophecy here oh..
Genesis is not a prophetic book. It is a law book...
Abi you don't know who a prophet is?

I mean any book from Samuel to Malachi. All these you are posting are not messianic prophesies...
Genesis 3 is God passing a judgement, or is God a prophet? If he is, who is he prophesying for?
Genesis 22 is referencing Abraham..where did you see jman there..?
Isaiah 53 is about a suffering servant..and in chapter 45:1-7 Isaiah told you who the servant is...

So where is the prophecy you are talking about..

I need prophecies in the old testament about the Messiah that the Jman fulfilled..

I am waiting.

Keep denying every evidence. They will stand against you on the day of judgement.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Jesus is the only one on earth born of a virgin and even your Quran confirms it.

And the verse also confirms the deity of Christ. Immanuel means God with us.

Here is another one;

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem. And he will come back to rule his people Israel for 1,000 years - Revelation 20:1-4.

You are trying so hard but keep mis firing .
So is there anything like second coming there?
Was jman born in Bethlehem or Nazareth?...you keep quoting the new testament, which I am disproving.Everybody knows that the book of revelation is fiction...

Show me where God told a prophet that the Messiah will come two times ?

You are just desperate. And you keep failing.
Immanuel is Isaiah s second son. The sign was for king Ahaz, it was to assure him that his kingdom will stand the threat of the northern kingdom and syria...read verse 16...

Try again mister.

Son of perdition. There is no virgin on earth who gave birth without the agency of a man. Even Satan will be afraid of you. Your deceit has no part 2.

Isaiah never said virgin...the word he used is "Almah" which means a young woman, who is also the prophetess and his wife.

Isaiah never said "Bertula" which would mean virgin..

Look it up..

Read verse 16. I know you have read it. The sign was for king Ahaz. All three children of Isaiah was given to him as sign for the people of Judah. Read 8: 1-18.
