STENON:

I'm very happy for bro. The sky is your starting point and I wish you well in life. Please you must be very careful with some people. This is indeed a great Lesson.
Do I need to turn deaf ears to this invaluable advise you've just given me? No! I'm afraid I shouldn't. The whole thing is a lesson to me, at a time, even I knew I was being too careless with my money. But now, I don learn. Thanks anyway!

But wait o, you still don't want to tell me which part of Osun you're from abi?

Thanks boss! Right from my days of student unionism in OAU, I've learnt that reputation is what precedes every human (whether political, social, or otherwise). And so, I've meticulously built my reputation over time.

Issues like this would have ordinarily being nipped into the bud by silence, but for posterity sake, I just have to clear the air.

As for that my fellow alumni, no mind her o. She's only defending me because she is sure I can't assume such a stooping posture. Had it been I was accused of something else, she would have sniffed life out of me. Lolz!

no other vacant position?

It all started on this great forum sometime around March(if my memory hasn't failed me), I advertised the position of a physics home tutor around isolo area. A lotta people applied, but there was this guy (name's withheld) who applied as well. On the basis of first come first serve, I gave the job to another person (but not him).

Afterwards, we became friends. With the promise that whenever another vacancy forth comes, I'll inform him. As promised, I did introduce him to other job vacancies I've been seeing @ that particular time. Even, I directed him to some of the home tutoring agencies where I previously work for placement. He kept telling me that he was destined for bigger things...

Unknown to me, he was carefully designing a plan on how to reap me of my hard-earned money. Sometimes, he comes to me to borrow tokens like 3K,4K, etc in the name using it as transport to look for job. Some, he returned, others, I leave for him.

Then, around the beginning of June, I drew his attention to the vacant post of a principal in festac area. I advised him to apply, since he told me he has worked as a principal before. Hence, he is qualified for the job. To cut the long story short, some weeks later, he told me he had been shortlisted. Later, he told me he had been appointed. See happiness now! From unemployment level to principal post.

A few days afterwards, I received a distress call from him, that his appointment may be cancelled if he doesn't fulfill some obligations. i.e. The school's dress code costs a total of #37500, He's also expected to collect one 'Notary public affidavit' abi na form self from High court. To cut the long story short, he requested (like someone whose life depended on it) that I borrow him the sum of #50000 which I did. Afterwards, the real scam of another #52500 was perpetually set in motion. That's a story for another day anyways.

In summary, I parted with over a 100,000 within the space of two weeks. The whole process of how it happened is a long story to write. But the summary is what I've typed up there.

The moment I realised I was being scammed, the Sherlock_Holmes part of me was activated. I tracked him to the level he didn't expect. As I type this, his lawyer and my Navy officers have perfected an arrangement of how he'll refund my money. The first installment of 20K has been paid, the rest will follow at the agreed time.

Now, to have come here to say all that 'Laureate gibberish' was as a reaction to my previous post of indirectly warning him here. Shey I told you people then that he's also a forumite but I don't know his monicker (Just like every other colleague of mine in my present place of work). And just as Isaac Newton has stated 'To every action, there's always an equal an opposite reaction'.
Unfortunately, he thought I was going to defame him, and so he took the first initiative. But funny enough, his own way of defamation is petty, intangible, and wouldn't hold water for lack of evidence.

For every single thing I've typed, I have both audio evidence and other documents to validate my claims. The moral of my story are as follows;
1- Whenever we meet people online, we should be careful of our relationship with them. Cos who many people claim they are online ain't what they really are.
2- Whenever we're doing financial transactions with people (be it friends or relatives) we should endeavour to keep evidences. These, we can put into good use should things go sour.
3- As much as I have a good heart, I've learnt that 'Expecting people not to do bad to you because you don't do bad to others is as foolish as thinking a lion shouldn't eat you because you don't eat lion'.
4- A reputation is what will speak of somebody even when the person is not there. See how those who know me have already defended me even before I open my mouth to defend myself.

Note, my background check even revealed what the Principal of Laureates College said behind my back. In his own words, he told a parent who protested my sack that 'Mr Ajibola is my friend, he's one of the best teachers I've ever had, but things just turned out the way it turned....'
So, how can the same management be behind this campaign of calumny? What point do they stand to prove? Even I have moved on....

P.S; Mods, please don't hide this post of mine so that everyone can know the truth. I may not be chanced to type something as lengthy as this again. And to that scammer, I've nothing personal against you, I need just my money...
I really learn 4rm your lesson and the inspirational quotes..Incase if there is home tutoring in isolo 4 basic 1-9 classes, please link me up boss..Am isolonian..Tanks

When you noticed the change in expression of their faces, you should have quickly explained to them that the cv you submitted that day was an updated cv. It is better you explained to them than they assuming things in their mind. They would have understood. Maybe they were thinking you weren't consistent thus the expressions in their faces. But all in all lets hope for the best.
What are the differences between the two CVs if i may ask?

Goodluck.

its not an hindrance. their is a guy dt we were interviewed together@chrisland. he applied for food and nutrition whereas food n nutrition wasn't in his CV dt was submitted. all effort to convince d panelists dt someone submitted an old CV on his behalf proved abortive.
d guy left d panel dejected bcz d panelists body languages weren't encouraging. but to his surprise among all of us e was part of those 3 dt were given appointment letters. although e was not given food n nutrition but instead he was sent to dre primary school to b a class teacher.
so don't let their reactions bother u.it is all about God saying yes.

I was advised to submit my cv to schools around my axis, of which I did, lo and behold, one of the school called me for interview, I came back here to gather all info concerning what to expect (actually got most from MacJc analysis). I went for the text, micro teaching and interview and I did very well. Though the salary is not too fantastic but I know it's a stepping stone to greater ones ahead. I really appreciate you guys. My ppl tork sey, "matter wey get 'k-leg', na 'k-eyes' person dey take luk am"! Dem also dey tork sey, "no matter how mata heavy reach, we no dey use wheelbarrow carry am, na tork we go tork am"!

==========================

As d saying goes, '' d die is cast..., the Rubicon has been crossed....."

PROBABILITIES:

P(1): SWAP CV B4 INTERVIEW DAY.
I'll be working with the assumption dt u weren't aware dt ur bruv submitted a "outdated" CV; or else u shld've found 1 way or d oda 2 interchange it b4 d D-day. U'll av saved urself frm ds predicament. But like I said, u had so many "versions" of ur resume dt u can't remember which 1 ur potential employers av in front of them! Most applicants are guilty of ds.
***like sey me sef neffa........., mtchewwww***

P(2) SWAP IT RIGHT THERE!
"W-h-a-a-a-a-t?" "Like cweusly?" "u must be kidding, right?"
Hell no! I ain't kidding!
At dt point, were I to be in ur "chuuus", once I don c sey dem dey Luk each oda like say man pikin don mess, and I don "kanna" sey yawa don gas as a result of d CV parole, kia-kia I would aff opened up with LOOOOOOTS OF SMILE /HUMOR and explained 2 dm dt :
. . . . (i) d "version" with them is outdated, while I sharply present them with d "latest edition". This option is if d changes in d "old edition" is related 2 minor bio-data eg, address, phone number/email, marital status etc.

. . . . . . . (ii) If d old edition has serious incriminating changes like Qualification issh, u can excuse ur self by still swapping it RIGHT THERE and excuse urself by telling dm dt d mix up resulted because UR BRUV {PREPARED AND} SUBMITTED d CV on ur behalf, hence d mix-up!
Even if u were d 1 responsible 4 d "falsehood" (esp as it pertains 2 ur bio-data eg age, marital status etc) still, with SMILES+LOTS OF HUMOR, open up 2 dem with reasons. For instance if d age was d isssh, tell dm u were forced 2 do so because of "one job like dt" u applied for which stated/required an age which was above/below yours. Like I said in an earlier post, that would have fetched u marks on d sincerity, "truthfulness" (@ least u opened up) and integrity scale. Trust me, dt would av been a good damage-control move which would've yielded dividend. The wrong impression they had about u was perfected by ur silence. They be like, "mtchewwww..............., ds Babe 'way' no pure"!
Make I nor lie 4 u, ds discrepancy would surely have counted against u when they would be doing d appraisal.
Hmmmmmmmm......... # long-tin#

P{3} MAN-KNOW-MAN.
If u av a "point man" in dt sch, I'll suggest u take d Mata 2 him/her 4 assistance ASAP.

P{4} PRAYER.
This one, to my reckoning is ur BEST BET now! No Mata how competent one is, lack of integrity/Trust is ALWAYS a MINUS when it comes 2 employment. Dhoooor! Who wants 2 hire/appoint d person he/she can't trust? If I lie, ask PMB!
Ehn-ehn, as I was saying, FASTING&PRAYER is ur sure bet because....... #Prov 21 v 1, and Luke 1 v 37#

NB:
Irrespective of d outcome of ds slip-up, plz look at the brighter side because:
(i) "Every adversity, every heartache,........, carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit".... Napoleon Hill
(ii) Rom 8 v 28

Wishing u d best in ur future endeavours!
