Me self no know anything o. I just posted due to the % it's lost so far and I thought kobo 70s shouldn't be a bad entry for the long run, which may not even be that long self. I have it but just watching out for 'bottom price' to average down anyway.
Guess maybe it's reacting to some supposed insider news....just maybe.

Maybe this? https://punchng.com/fgll-pay-failed-investors-n736bn-to-repossess-discos/?
So they'll probably get their outstanding debts from FG. FG needs to sort out the Discos before the Siemens deal kicks off

To counter OGGs opinion, Jaiz and Unity on a good day will give 100% in 1/4 of the time it will take FCMB or Fidelity to deliver 50% if gotten at my quoted prices

Yes, I read the news too.
I saw it as a positive one but just not sure.
I hope they're able to get the fund on time.

Dear bros, sorry I have to quote you, the thing is that many knew the truth but sadly we dont ACT it.
A lot goes into the problem on ground, PMB is just another phase of its continuation and not necessarily the cause. You know very well more than this, lets not be addressing the issue on the surface! Make I stop there, I no get strength to argue. grin

As for Transcorp is one chance bus, even if they get the money from federal government, they will corner it, shareholders will not get it as dividend. cool

what surprised me yesterday is Germany stock market,it seems the trade war between us and China is affecting the others. It seems Trump doesn't care about the elections, na soldier go, soldier come. He is no different from Buhari.

Abba, how will you compare Trump with buhari?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Michael11stock(m): 1:21pm On Aug 15, 2019
The trade war I was thinking it should be a blessing to us, meaning most people would move their foreign funds bring it back to Nigeria and invest, pending when this whole stuff's settled

they take decisions without think it through and they are fond of making reckless statements.trump inherited a good economy now his actions is causing fear among investors, now recession is knocking at the door.

His comments on immigration is inspiring rednecks to go on killing spree, now He is putting measures that will be make it difficult for migrant and immigrant to some privileges.trump and buhari are almost the same.

What Trump is doing is what most American presidents feared to do a long time.

It is beneficial to US companies that have been cheated for a very long time.

Trump will still win a second term with land slide!

Discos owe the Gencos. FG takes over (assets and liabilities of Discos), pays off debt to Gencos.
Transcorp power is a Genco being owed by several Discos. Therefore, they may benefit from this development as receivables will reduce and cashflows will improve.

Even if yields on government instruments touch 20% and Dividend yields get to 18%, investors won't be swayed to come here.

What's happening is global. There is a global flight to safety. We're entering a risk-off environment where anything perceived as risky is shunned by investors.

Plus, the FG is not doing anything right to assure investors that their investments will be safe here

at all, infact just mentioning Nigeria alone..... I told my British pal to communicate with his contacts to invest here and the responses he got made me switch to 'I scratch your back while you scratch mine' Option. IT is Not really easy in this present economy.

Audited HY result for the big banks usually turn up towards end of August.

For Zenith Bank, CBN is yet to approve their result. Technically, CBN is responsible for the delay.

The drop is affecting me, but I really don't care!

FG wakes up and just announce policies without knowing the effects.

Security is zero, and you are busy restricting this and that and putting pressure on CBN. Let's not even talk about the borrowing.

If you are a fund manager with $1 billion will you look at the present day Nigeria, when other African countries are doing better?

I rest my case

GTB(DataMax Registrars Ltd) registration process is very difficult .

Kindly contact your stockbroker to process your share stock transfer Form through the CSCS.

Submit to us photocopy of the stockbroker’s schedule/share stock transfer form duly acknowledged at the CSCS, attach the completed e-dividend mandate form, ensure that the completed form is stamped by your bank and forward to our office for processing

Thanks.

I meant the actual bank, not registrars. In Nigeria, you just walk into a branch to have your e-dividend mandate signed, stamped and processed. But liaising with the NRN team for a similar process isn’t going so smoothly.

Have you had to process your e-dividend mandate without physically visiting a bank branch?

If it touches 90 kobo I will sell all my other stocks and make my portfolio 100% of Fidelity, then Fide PE will be below 1.
As far as our FCMB has positive earning in their 2019 Half year, Fide must have, either by hook or by crook, if they didn't see what to do, they will perfectly cook it to maintain positive earning.
Anyway am looking for money to keep on buying better stock, because one day Mr bull will resurface.

Non-Resident Nigerian customer service team. I simply want to get my e-dividend form stamped by my bank (Guaranty trust bank). The e-dividend form does not necessarily have to be for GTB shares (or any security managed by DataMax).

Does this help our economic in short run or long run? Did our dear president consult his economic team or his cabinet? Country make money from exporting than importing that is understandable. What effect will this have in the NSE?.
