Fifteen Africans, including six Nigerians, are among 199 honorees who have been selected for the 2013 Young Global Leaders Award of the World Economic Forum instituted by the Dangote Fellowship

According to a statement by the organisation, of the 15 honorees, eight have been adjudged eligible for the Young Global Leaders Dangote Fellowship, a fellowship that gives them the opportunity of being sponsored fully to regional and global events being organised by the World Economic Forum.

Dangote Fellowship, instituted by the Dangote Foundation, has sponsored members of the community of the YGLs to various private programs at the Annual General Meeting of the New Champions in China, World Economic Forum in India, several meetings in Davos and the WEF Educational Module in the United State of America.
