I cannot say. In a humanitarian mission, I don't think they are usually armed.
Just felt in such region, defensive measures should have been taken. Probably escort by the Mi-24. It would have been a bad case if the helicopter was shot down.

I'm glad we are going to produce that gun. A 7.62mm with absolutely no recoil on full auto shocked shocked shocked

I simply had no way to keep it to myself, I had to tell, quite literally after kissing. grin grin

God bless any Boko-Haram Terrorist at the end of that full auto burst, for he shall know what a quick and painful death is. grin

Beautiful, beautiful weapon, absolutely beautiful!

You saw when he laughed at the end after going full burst in the standing position? I'd be scared shitless if I was BHT.

Infact, I won't only be scared, I'll be singing like a canary. cheesy

Hrmnn, are these the ones upgraded by the Israelis?

Yes. The distinctive boxlike laser rangefinder looks to be a DANTE, which is Israeli in origin.

It's not feasible bro. You go the first 20 times with escort, at the 21st time you realize this is expensive and cannot be sustained.

The good thing is, fighter aircrafts and helicopters on standby were scrambled immediately to neutralize the threat, which they prosecuted perfectly as BDA confirms.
