pls help with dis mth prob. X+cosX=60. He(teacher) said der is a formular called'Egyptian law' but i couldn't find it thru google. |

hidee20: pls help with dis mth prob.I HAVE NOT HEARD OF SUCH OF LAW. BUT THE METHOD MY SEC TEACHER TAUGHT, IS THAT limx->0(x+cosx)~1+x but limx->90(x+cox)~x-x-1, since the x approaches 90, then we use the second method to find x, which now becomes 60-(1/60) , x is approximately 59.9, the amazing stuff is that the fmla is correct, you can even check with calculator. |
