It would be recalled that the Appeal Court, sitting in Ibadan, on Tuesday, 31 July, 2013, ruled in favour of the National Universities Commission (NUC), in the suit against Lead City University, Ibadan, on the Institution’s Law programme. The Court set aside the earlier judgment of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, in Suit No. FHC/IB/CS/50/2009, delivered by Justice Shakarho J. on 26 July, 2011.

The Commission had approached the Court of Appeal and filed nine Grounds of Appeal from which the NUC Lead Counsel, Kanu Agabi (SAN), with Peter Evrivwode (Esq.), distilled five issues for determination by the Appeal Court in Suit No. CA/1/255/2011.
