An elderly military couple wedded at their veterans home the day preceding yesterday, Sept. 13 in the middle's first gay service. 95-year-old World War II veteran, John Banvard, wedded his accomplice, 67-year-old Gerard Nadeau, who served in Vietnam. The two have been together for 20 years, yet needed to hold up until the later Supreme Court choice to legitimately get married.
