Those are police officers who are responding to distress calls ,they are probably detectives that is why they don't have any ID on them.They are first responders and not a tactical team. If you knew anything about responding to distress calls,you won't be foaming at mouth with this nonsense.

Secondly the security forces have been briefed that there are still civilians in the Mall hence why their guns are facing down and their fingers are on the trigger guards.Imagine if the their gun is pointed forward and they accidentally shoot a child or an innocent person.Go and look at the photos of USA's response teams and see how their guns are pointed.You have no clue about anything that is why you are spewing rubbish.

Thirdly ,the officers acted correctly by assuring the kids to run to them.If they maintained an attacking stance they could have scared off the children or the people fleeing.The best way to assuring traumatized people is to maintain a friendly stance and waving to them to run to you as fast as possible.If you point a gun forward the child will run in the opposition direction.
