OR. 2) I was in year one already but because of the persistence ASUU strike I decided to move to more stable education environment nd I would love to start affresh cos am still young vibrant and sound. Pls advise me? Which one is the best

Bro, since ur interview is very near, you'll have to go with faith. SAT/TOEFL only boost ur chances.

If there's no other flaw(s) in ur interview, then u av chance. You can't be denied just cuz u've written no tests.

Try to convince the VO with cogent reasons, if question arises on it.

By the way, what school you going to?

Go to the embassy on monday, the worst that will happen is they will give you a paper and tell u to come on any day that your sevis fee is ready. Canceling your appointment is late now bro that could have been your best option.

Unfortunately, this thread is about Student VISA. Ur chances are high due to ur travelling experience..

Just prove that you can afford the trip, come back home. I think you should be Ok.

Bro I actually experienced this as well. I paid my sevis at geiva and after a week I couldn't get my receipt and my interview was approaching.. I was advised by peeps not to go for the interview even my brother here Ricky advised me to reschedule . But I just didn't want to reschedule so I went to geiva on the eve of my interview and complained I really racked for them. The guy had to call his boss to scan the receipt he used in paying for me, I got the scanned receipt and took it to the embassy. At the embassy during the bio metric and all those stuffs , the lady asked me for my sevis receipt and I told her the agency that helped me to pay in the states delayed the payment so the receipt hasn't reflected yet on the website but that I had the confirmation of payment the man used in paying the fee, I was about showing her.. She said I shouldn't mind . So when I was eventually called up for interview by the VO, he checked on his system and I guess he saw I have actually paid and didn't bother asking for the receipt... My interview went normally and by the Grace of God I got my VISA.
I guess even if u don't hv the receipt and the payment hasn't reflected at fmjfee website there's some other way the VO's could verify if you have actually paid . So bro if u sure u prepared for the interview. Pls go ahead!

For the guy that doesn't have his sevis fee online till now,just go to the embassu on ur appointment date bcz is closer now and to get a date now na war,go with faith,I saw a student that didn't have the sevis fee receipt but also paid too like u and was allowed in,but didn't know about his interviw sha,because it was all man for himself that day as no one even remember each other
