The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in the Anambra state governorship election, Senator Chris Ngige is getting more support and endorsements from individuals and groups, including traditional rulers, as he continues his campaign tour of communities in the state. Senator Ngige visited Nanka, Ichida, Enugu Ukwu and Obosi to seek the votes of the electorate in the November 16 governorship poll. Accompanied by senior officials of the party and delegates from the United States embassy in Nigeria, Senator Ngige made his way to Austica Memorial College in Nanka, Orumba north, where a funeral reception was being held for the late mother of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Awka. The APC governorship candidate then proceeded to address party supporters at the town’s square. From Nanka, the APC governorship candidate headed to the palace of his Royal Majesty, Charles Ezeudogu, the Igwe of Ichida, in Aniocha local government area, where he got endorsements from the Monarch and his Council of Chiefs. The Ngige campaign train then began their journey to Obosi not just to campaign, but to also felicitate with the people of the community on the occasion of the Ofalla festival. The route leading to the mini stadium was filled with crowd of people, making it difficult to ply, as everyone wanted to catch a glimpse of the APC candidate. 1 Like

blater500: i love chris ngige as a person, but his resent political activities has been worry-some. What is APC doing in a christian state? When they have made it clear that they hate Christians and the Igbos? Ngige is a criminal and a sell out. On Nov. 16th, they will be handed a resounding defeat in Jesus name Amen! |
