Master of Art (M.A.) in International Relations Program responds to a growing need for focused graduate programs in International Relations, offering students thorough training for careers in research, politics, foreign policy and business. The program serves students in two general directions.
The first is preparing students for future careers in governmental and non-governmental organizations, both in Turkey and abroad, as well as careers in the private sector, public institutions including foreign service, international organizations and NGOs. The second is preparing students for PhD programs in Europe and North America. In addition, the MA program makes a valuable contribution to the Department’s and the university’s research environment and academic reputation.

The program will provide the specialized knowledge and professional skills needed in a career path leading to high-end technical roles (e.g. software analyst, architect or research engineer) or managerial roles (e.g. project/team leader or technology officer). Graduates from the program will be well equipped to join the highly dynamic software industry in the Baltics, Northern and Eastern Europe.
Full-time students admitted to this Masters program in 2013 will automatically receive a tuition-waiving scholarship.One important disclaimer though: this tuition-waiving scholarship is for students who complete a full-time study load of 30 credit-points (ECTS) per semester. Students who do not complete 30 credit-points per semester will pay tuition fees of 65 per missing credit point below the required 30 ECTS per semester (fee to be confirmed in February 2013). Past history indicates that over 90% of international students who study full-time in this program complete the required 30 ECTS per semester.

Bachelor´s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. Applicants with a Bachelor´s degree in Mathematics or Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Business and Economics must have completed at least 24 ECTS in Information Technology, including courses in Programming, Database Technology and Software Engineering.

The Master of Science in Computer Engineering emphasizes mobile, network and software engineering applications, all areas of growing importance in todays world.

General Information:

* All courses are taught in English.
* Courses are selected from the compulsory and elective course categories. All courses have 3 credit hours. The graduate seminar and thesis are non-credit.
* The graduate courses offered are given between 5-8 p.m. at the Cibali Campus of Kadir Has University.
Graduate students can be granted type A or type B scholarships. The type A scholarship includes a full tuition waiver and financial support throughout the normal duration of graduate education. Holders of type A scholarships are asked to contribute 20 hours per week to their corresponding departments activities. The type B scholarship includes only a full or partial tuition waiver. Students holding a 50% or higher type B scholarship are asked to contribute up to 10 hours per week to their corresponding departments activities.
