Relocating Within The UK by tpearlz: 12:42pm On Nov 24, 2013 |
Hey guys, its me again ,I've been living in london for abt 2 years and I'm not happy there...the expensive rent, hostility, lack of trust, just a smile is a chore for everyone!!well, now I have got a husband and child,I need to move out of london, but within the UK,I need a more friendly place, where I can mix and feel at home, cheap rent so there's space for family expansion, and the transport system is almost as good as london's because we don't have a car,and most importantly, abundance of jobs, pls all positive suggestions are welcome, tnks NLS.. |

I lived in Glasgow for a year and loved it. Things are cheap and transportation is good. You can get a two bedroom flat for £450. No water rate, don't know much about jobs but overall a nice place to live. I can't wait to go back. 1 Like |

If you can't 'feel at home' in London doubt you can feel at home elsewhere- Cost of living is definitely cheaper in some other cities but then again you will have to deal with [high cost of nigerian/african food] If you live outside london you are more likely to need a car to move around and for work people will smile at you when the sun comes out, or they havent got anything to do- you go UK go count bridge? 1 Like |

If you are not happy in London, then move to any of those small UK villages. |

Move to another city Leicester, Milton Keynes. Maybe consider Herefordshire. What our your husband views? Does he want to move. I would move to Edinburgh over Glasgow. There a lot of jobs in Aberdeen due to the oil industry. |

Greetings to you all. Is Hereford same with Herefordshire? My uncle and his wife are coming into UK end of next month and the are considering staying in Hereford cos it's the only city in England that seems to be very close to Swansea University in Wales where my uncle will be studying. They want to live in England. Thanks for your reply itpossible: |
