Just minutes ago, protesters and local police clashed in the city of Ferguson, which is in the US State of Ferguson. The city of Ferguson has been the site of simmering racial tension, since the fatal shooting of an African-American teenager, Michael Brown, by a Caucasian police officer. The deceased was allegedly attacking the officer during a "stop and search" operation. CNN reports that a protester was shot at by Police. More details to come .. |

Missouri Governor, Jay Nixon, declared a state of emergency in Ferguson yesterday. He has ordered the National Guard (a branch of the US Army) to help quell the unrest. |
