If your man is cheating and you search his phone you will find evidence. If you find that evidence of cheating and you don't act on it. It means you are weak and he will keep cheating because he knows there is nothing you can do.

To add to your humiliation he will stop covering up.
In my opinion it's best you don't search his phone except you are 100% ready for confrontation. He will deny so be ready for argument and persistence.

This is not from a school of thought. It is common sense.
