The God of David. The father and son union of God(Jehovah) and David(the man after God's heart" is very inspiring. God in him was the hope glory. His selection as the king of Isreal defined exactly Whom God is. Prophet Samuel was almost carried away by physical appearances of the initial sons but God Almighty was still searching for one after His heart; "David" was moved by vain words of Golliath, the energy of Jehovah in him rose in Power. Little did Golliath know what he faced was beyond swords, spears and muscles. David had His Spirit, that was his hope of glory and victory. I mediated on his union with God today, it's indeed a source of strength and power, and i tell you, God is real, loving and faithful. Still pondering and recieving more understanding about this great union of love and purpose in this chosen hero of God,  His God is kind, merciful and faithful all the time. Full of joy!
