Federal High Court sitting in Abuja today rule that statue quo should remain in the House of Representative. This mean that Aminu Tambuwal remain the Speaker of the House. The Court also rule also rule that Speaker cannot be removed neither can the house reconvene until the adjourned date of December . The resume hearing on the substantive case on Friday. 3 Likes |

This is the type of injunction by courts in Nigeria who swear to protect the rich only. The most annoying one for me is where such court injuction are usually given away to day light criminal politicians who have stolen huge amount of money. You hear`HIGH` court grant injunction to stop his/her arrest. And the person is set free.. |

The OP is not stating the whole truth in the court ruling. The court only barred PDP reps from reconvening the house until hearing is done on the suit by friday. Whether Taambuwal still remains speaker or not is yet to be determined. 4 Likes |
