As part of efforts to redesign the landscape of the construction sector of the country, Richbon Group has introduced to the Nigerian market XGMA machinery; a China-based brand of construction equipment.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Richbon Group, Chief C. Muonagolu, made this known during the XGMA product launch and exhibition held recently in Lagos.

According to Muonagolu, “Richbon is introducing to the Nigerian market XGMA machinery; one of the leading brands of construction equipment in the world; a brand that would in no distant time take over the construction equipment market in Nigeria; a brand that is budget friendly, energy saving, user friendly luxury and rugged.”
Also he said: “These machines asides being budget friendly, they come with Peckins, Cummins and Isuzu turbo charged and intercooled engine which are fuel efficient, low-emission engines, meeting Euro II standards. The machines are also equipped with German ZF high efficiency transmission system.”

Muonagolu said in his address that: “With the introduction of these new machines, gone are the eras where federal, state and local government contractors would pay so much to acquire used and imported construction equipment without the assurance of quality performance.”

In addition, he assured the customers and the banks in attendance that the product been launched and exhibited which included excavators, motor graders, vibratory rollers, forklifts, bulldozers and wheel loaders; were fully backed up with after sale service and warranty, while adding that endorsement has been given to all existing customers to switch over to the XGMA brand.

Meanwhile he noted that: “Our partners, the Xiamen XGMA machinery co. limited of China, Manufacturers of the famous XGMA machines is ranked among the top global construction machinery companies in the world. The company is also currently ranked as one of Asia’s most valuable brand.”

The Richbon Boss also disclosed that the XGMA centre under construction would house an ultra-modern service centre, where spare parts of the XGMA machinery would be retailed and they also intend to expand and have distributors in the geo-political regions in the country.
According to the Sales Manager of XGMA in Africa, Michael Zhu, “XGMA machines are durable and stable, could be easily operated and can work in different conditions”.

Commenting further on the machines, Zhu noted that the machines has been used in Chinese Antarctic Island and overcame the cold weather conditions as well as in Saudi Arabia and Namibia where it is extremely hot, stressing that XGMA machines have prevailed despite the climatic conditions.

He stated that: “XGMA will organise its service personnel to work together with Richbon service team to ensure that services is professional and it would train Richbon service teams so that they can build their own service team here in the country so that after two to three years, their local service Engineers will travel around the country to cover all XGMA machines.”

Richbon Group has been adjudged as one of the fastest selling brands in the country in the last three years. It achieved a very significant landmark by popularising the Sinotruk brand of truck in Nigeria.
