To celebrate my birthday this year, I have decided to grant a fixed sum compassionate scholarship to someone desperately in need of assistance.

The criteria below:

1. Must be a secondary school student or university student

2. Such a person must have a CGPA of above 3.5 in any of these federal universities : ife, unilag or ui

3. Finally the person must be willing to show proof that he/she deserves the grant.

Note if your birthday is in April and native of Lagos will be an added advantage.

Mr. Omemma, kindly keep your Yoruba scholarship to yourself or better still go to those Yoruba schools and search for a befitting Yoruba beneficiary and dash them your blood money , nairaland is a Nigerian forum not a Yoruba forum.

oluku

So all secondary school or university students in unilag, UI and OAU are yorubas?

People with CGPA of 3.5 and above are Yorubas? And the added advantage means it's streamlined to yorubas?

I have some friends who are igbos and have great sense of comprehension if not I would have said the Ipod race are fools citing you as an example.. tribalistic bigot..... you better change your ways if not you'll die a poor man

So in your yorrowbah oilish brain, a native of Lagos isn't Yoruba abi?

Good morning guys, I posted a thread here some days ago about my gf telling me that she doesn't wanna have sex anymore.
You guys remember?

2016Deity:

On the new year eve, she called me and told me that she doesn't wanna have sex again, I asked for the reason for the decision but she said she just wants to stop having sex and I said ok.

Well, I have good news, she came back yesterday and we did it, was so hot and sweet I swear.
I finally asked her why she said that she doesn't want sex any more and she said she was joking, that she just wants to know my reaction and I'm happy I didn't screw things up courtesy of the advice I got here.

Y'all are great, thanks

5. Bye bye to antennas

Now do you notice any difference ? yes, there are no more antennas on the phones, the phone manufacturers had found a way to make the phone function well without the use of the antennas. the popular Nokia 3310 featured well in this era and was the first of its kind to have no antennas.

Romance / Re: Do Ladies Love Men Who Beat Them? by 2016Deity: 6:59pm On Jan 05, 2016
mccoy47:

.Have always wanted to ask this question too. I eexperienced the same thing too in my school days as a Year one student. My neighbor then would always beat his gf at the slightest argument with her and 3 mins after the beating I would start hearing moaning sounds from their room.

Then one day the answer came to me in the most obscure way. After exams I and my neighbors that hadn't gone home where sort of bored so we decided to play Ludo game. I, some other neighbors and that my neighbor's gf ( her bf wasn't around) so it got to a stage in the game whereby she (my neighbors gf, lets call her Jen) had the option of either killing me or completing her game n rounding off.
So I sort of begged her jokingly to spare me since she loves me . Which she agreed to then to my utmost suprise Jen still went ahead to kill me angry
Then I asked her why she still did that.. and her reply blew me away. She said and I quote

DON'T YOU KNOW THAT IT'S THE PERSON WHOM YOU LOVE MOST THAT YOU END UP BEATING MOST TIMES

Then it occurred to me that, thats the mentality that have been programmed into her brain by her bf.

MY POINT IS, "JUST LIKE JEN, MANY GIRLS HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED BY THEIR BOYFRIENDS THAT LOVE IS PAIN AND A DAY WITHOUT BEATING IS AN UNROMANTIC DAY AND ALSO A SIGN OF A WEANING LOVE. HENCE THE GIRLS CRAVE THE BEATING AS A REASSURANCE THAT THE 'LOVE' IS STRONG"

#SadIndeed

I'm speechless

Yes, some ladies love to be beaten up. Some of them will be the first to slap the man so that he can retaliate.

Call it love, call it insanity. All join.

That's weird

The ladies are in better position to give u an answer. I think any lady who enjoys beating, bashing & lashing from her man is a foolish woman. How can a man u love be giving u abara & igbati the way he likes & u still claim u are enjoying it? Is it till wen he kills u & marries another lady before u will realize what to do, silly indeed... sad

A piece of your mind and funny too
