Ballistic Protection Levels

Texas Armoring Corporation offers four levels of ballistic protection to meet client needs (all premium armoring packages include lightweight composite armor). Armoring levels range from low-level handgun protection to ultra-high-level armor-piercing rifle protection. With a wide range of protection offerings, TAC can produce vehicles suitable for low risk areas like the United States and Canada and also for high-risk areas like Latin America, West Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia:
• Handgun/Pistol Protection - T4 (NIJ IIIA/European B4)
• High-power Rifle Protection - T6 (NIJ III/European B6+)
• Armor-piercing Rifle Protection - T7 (NIJ IV/European B7 Single-Shot)
• Extra Armor-piercing Rifle Protection - T8 (NIJ IV+/European B7 Multi-Shot)

If you're purchasing the vehicle in coordination with an armouring package, all ground transport, fees for shipping within the U.S are included. International freight is also available upon request.
We ship vehicles via express air freight or via containerized, insured ocean freight to any location in Africa.
