Ahead of the March 28 Presidential Election, Ex-
Governor Sheriff Relocates Families, Pets, Out of
Maiduguri With just 6 days to the Presidential election and
sensing that General Mohammadu Buhari will
emerge victorious in the polls, former Borno State
Governor and alleged Boko Haram financier, Ali
Modu Sheriff may have already perfected plans in
moving his entire households and pets out of Maiduguri, KSM News has learnt. Our undercover correspondent who had kept a
close tab on Sheriff homes in Maiduguri following a
tip off by surrounding neighbours that valuable
assets are being moved out from buildings owned
by the former governor in the state at odd hours,
reported seeing movements of valuables out of Sheriff's homes around midnight till in the early
hours of the morning. One of such buildings is the
ex-governor's multi-billion naira mansion located
at the back of the Maiduguri Government House.
The building is now completely empty, says one
source. According to one Baba Goni Makinta, a popular
German Shepherd dog within the vicinity of one of
Sheriff's homes had disappeared and not been
seen for the past one week and upon enquiry it
was discovered the dog has been moved out of the
state to an unknown location. There are rumours presently going round
Maiduguri that Sheriff may have moved his families
from Maiduguri and Abuja to one of his multi-billion
dollar mansions in Dubai. The choice of Dubai is strategic. This is because
Dubai is among five countries in the world that has
not signed an extradition treaty with any country. According to the Daily Finance, in its report
published on June 11th 2013, titled: Know Where

Dubai, being "widely regarded as the Las Vegas of
the Persian Gulf, with its gorgeous buildings,
vibrant nightlife and collection of private islands make it the perfect escape for the rich man with
