Except United press the self-destruct button, the title is theirs.
As for CL, the journey ends in about three weeks time. I'll stake my car !!
U might be Kings in England again, but certainly not in Europe.

Your VW Beetle of 1971?? I'd pass abeg. grin

This is a no contest.
One would have expected SAF to field the kiddies.

damn we had 17 total shots and 9 on target fulhamhad 5 shots and none on target. we never play fair grin,Edwin van der sar can set an entire new record amongst european goal keepers when we paly blackburn, though it will be a tough match as they're in relegation zone. the champions keep on marching on.

I keep telling you guys. . . . .Having VDS and Vidic in the same team is like using cheat codes on PS3.
Now letz beat Blackburn on saturday and wrap up the PREM with a ribbon.
It's too easy for Ferguson. grin

This is becoming scandalous me thinks the rest of the league should come hire Nasri on loan or something since he is the only one that seems to know his way round the United goal cool

On the second hand, I think I'm fine with 3 - 0. 1-0 is not fine enough for me. . . they better buckle up.

I love my Manchester United so much. . . and I'm so happy we have an additional GD as well as the 3 points. Nothing could make this day better.

You are not serious Chamotex. Better run to bluespice and go and be kissing her. Just because we support the same club, doesn't mean you are an indirect husband to me o!

Just pray the club keeps doing well if not, I might indirectly take it out on you. cheesy cheesy

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 7:42am On Feb 19, 2009
During last night's game, the commentator made a remark in the direction of Van der Sar saying that this long run of not conceeding must be an excercize in concentration.
I believe that, given that it's been long since he had to make anything like a decent save for a while (the smirk on his face when Zamora's attempt flashed wide narrowly was CLASSIC!!!).
i hope his reflexes are intact oh!!!
Good to see the Roo score with his first touch, picking off from where he left off vs Wigan:his last touch before being injured=GOAL.

This is really getting ridiculous, I think Fergie should put up a prize for the next player/team to score us, maybe that would help intensify the attempt on our goal.

Please someone answer this question: What did VDS do last night?

We could have practically played the Fulham game without a Keeper. All the attempts at goal went wide, he never needed to make any type of save, or did i watch anoda game.

UNITED 4eva. cool

i dont know what VDS did o.
But wait, whats happening to our old warhorses?
recently Giggs has been superb and my o my, did you see what Scholes did yesterday?
how can we stop winning when our old men are working their socks off?
UTD will win all trophies in sight if they continue like this.

By the way, i dont see us conceding maybe till Pool comes to OT.
and if they also decide not to score, then forget it, we'll stop using goalies in our subsequent games

Its things like this that gives NAZIDAYO teh impetus to question the quality of the PREM. the only thing he fails to realise or appreciate that UNITED have attained alevel that is making other teams look like mediocres.

As per the Oldies in the team, ma guy icant fit explain that part. only that Fergie knows how to get the best from them, he gives them good resting time and unleashes them on poor innocent EPL teams grin grin

I dont see any league where this UNITED team will not dominate like they are doing now. The only team thats at par with UNITED is BARCA and boy would like to see a BARCA/UNITED CL final.

Pool were lucky the first round, not taking anything from their present form, but i assure you things will return to the status Quo when they visit OT. According to Jackal, w'll need a magnifying mirror to locate EL Nino on that day. grin
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 9:27am On Feb 19, 2009
don't want to sound cocky or anything, but maybe we'll use a dustbin as our goalkeeper for premiership teams, because the way our defence has been standing out lately,no one can get a shot on target at us.

Fergie:First to score against us=4 year contract at OT!!! grin

Oh please, feel free to be as cocky as you want. Our guys earned us bragging rights. I just need to see one more Arsenal fan come here and start shouting about 49 unbeaten. Na 49 unbeaten we go chop? Hisssssssssss! No trophy to show for it. cheesy cheesy cheesy

I loved the way, they played today. Made me proud. Upon the fact that they cancelled 2 goals, we still defeated them quite easily for my expectations. It was nice to put on my red today. cheesy cheesy

Hmmm!!
I fittn't shout!!
Vintage Scholes with Vintage passing
Sending emails and sms all around the field
With Scholes Mobile grin grin grin

And now Blackburn and Big Sam is next on the slaughter slab
Can we do this over again?
I think we'll do.

wonder where these minutes keep coming from.
I'm tired of hearing he has another so-and-so number of minutes he has before he breaks the record,it's no longer important to me.

Moonstone,
I remember when I was in school and arsenal went 49 unbeaten.I tried to counter that they never won the treble like we did, they said I was living in the past.
Now let me hear any smelly-mouthed Gunner come here and tell me about 49 unbeaten.
We all know where that record ended:OT Bus Stop.As all long unbeaten records tend to do when the conductor yells the name of the bus stop.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 12:01pm On Feb 19, 2009
EB
Never mind, we have already set and broken the European record
The same goal.com keeps contradicting itself.
It initially said the European record lies with Athletico Madrid only for them to make a volte face to Belgium
but whatever, here is another shot i do like us and Mancs to take a look at and analyse.
Will give my own idea asap.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2009/02/18/1115298/italy-v-england-pick-your-england-vs-italy-xi

More of making a comparaison of English and Italian first Eleven in club football.
Methinks the rear guard should have Vida. Sentiments apart. Chielini in me opinion cannot replace Vida
His quality is still below par. Aside Maicon, Inter has no other player in defence, to make this team.

Also, Lampard has NO place in this team. Someone occupying that place should be able to move his team.
Propel them and take hold of the midfield. How on earth did he get it ahead of Steven G or eve Stankovic?
Methinks Steven Gerard should go in his place.

What do y'all think?
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 12:05pm On Feb 19, 2009
Pls who knows where i can buy this wine?
I will need it as a present to Fergie, if he beats inter for me;

Ferguson is looking forward to facing Inter Milan in the Champions League but is wary of Jose Mourinho's team.
Whatever the result, he will share a bottle of red wine with his former Chelsea sparring partner.
'My favourite wine is called Pesquera, which comes from a lovely little Spanish wine-making region,' said Ferguson. 'It's a gorgeous red, which is very fruity; I recommend you try a bottle
.'
