Nigeria's Super Falcons will be looking to salvage their 2015 Women's world cup bid against the United States. The Nigerian ladies have only garnered 1 point from their first two matches: a highly entertaining 3-3 draw with Sweden, and a 0-2 loss to Australia respectively. On the other hand, the United States opened their tournament with a hard-fought 3-1 win over the Matildas of Australia, but had to settle for a goalless draw with European powerhouse, Sweden. This will be the fourth meeting between both sides in a FIFA women's world cup, all in group play. In 1999, the US defeated the Super Falcons 7-1; in the 2003 edition, the Americans defeated the Nigerians 5-0; and the Super Falcons lost 0-1 to the US in 2007. A win for the Super Falcons will increase hopes of squeaking into the Round of 16. Venue: BC Place stadium, Vancouver Ngozi Okobi, Ini Umotong and Courtney Dike
