Daniel Craig gets my vote, the other bonds were bonds of their respective eras vis-a-vis cold war, trade wars, proxy wars and industrial/technological espionage. This is the Era of anti-terrorism, religo-politico fanaticism, powerful cabals and shadow organization with moles inside many spy agencies who shoot before they negotiate and commit mass murder to gain notoriety among potential recruits so Daniel Craig is the ideal bond of our era who shoots first and asks questions later as a would be suicide bomber won't give Pierce Brosnan time to drain down his martini while explaining his big bang theory to the pretty lady he's chatting up as he/she would just blow Pierce up into pink mist with body parts flying every where
Among all the popular big TV anti-terror pseudo spies assassins and law enforcers James Bond had the weakest character prior to Daniel Craig and a poll in a British magazine on which of the J.B's(jack Bauer, Jason Bourne and James Bond) you would trust the fate of humanity to if the world was in danger influenced the decision to make Craig a more ruthless less sentimental bond and box office returns says it worked needless to say that Pierce Brosnan's bond came at the bottom of that poll and Bauer and Bourne were a close first and second as everyone knew that those two would do anything to win it's a pity they lost a few fans like some of you but gaining so many more fans in the process

As much as I dislike Daniel Craig's 007, you are quite right in your explanation.

As much as I hate to say it Spectre was a very drab movie. I thought a combination of Christoph Waltz and Daniel Craig would set the movie alight but I was wrong. Actually watched it weeks ago, but was too disappointed to even begin to write about my thoughts on the movie.

As time went on, I realised why I was disappointed. I was comparing SPECTRE to classics like The Dark Knight. That's why I was disappointed. Comparing SPECTRE to other past Bond movies, I wouldn't be too disappointed.

As BrainiacX and exposey have put it, Bond is simply more real again.

Daniel Craig gets my vote because when I'm watching a movie I would like to feel like everything that happened can happen in real life. When I don't feel that way, fine I'd go watch Narnia or whatever. That's where he trumps Pierce for me.

I think comparing the two is kind of not fare because the producers r just trying to bring different character to role note 007 is just one agent out of all d mi6 agent n it will look fakey if they all have 100 percent similarities. Fyi that is fan r kind of wondering when d ironic agent number 007 will b a black man. For now Daniel is mine sha he got d charisma u will like in a reallife agent

Brosnan - Hollywood Bond. Too manufactured. Fine, smooth and all but not very believable.
Daniel Craig - The real deal. Closer to Ian Fleming's characterization of Bond.
For me the best Bond was Sean Connery. He seemed to embody the best from both. Drop dead gorgeous, sexy but a bit rough around the edges. My next favourite is Daniel Craig. I absolutely abhorred Roger Moore. A bit too smarmy. Too English-public-school.

Pierce to me is a better JB because of his swag & d way he handles d ladies.

Craig is simply full of action, tho Peirce Brosan was the most entertaining bond ever but after seeing skyfall; craig iz d best. Can't wait to see spectre

As a Bond Fan from my infant years, I watched the whole 'bond dudes', and there was a stereotype around them we love(charm, charisma, suave, even funny like Roger Moore) Daniel Craig has none of these characteristics, and can be described as an Albino brute(no Offence Intended). Pierce Brosnan Gave Bond movies a Rebirth after the long Hiatus of the franchise and Timothy Dalton's Ego. I remember Watching Goldeneye 1995 and even the Theme Song of Tina Turner gave me goose pimples, Brosnan was an instant Hit, But Craig just has people Contemplating since 2006(casino Royale) this Contemplations shows you he's not good enough at all. #Team Pierce Brosnan any day. Also, I have watched Daniel Craig Bong movies and even the Bond theme song is a problem to hear it.
Even though Craig was a debatable idea, pls and Pls let No Black man be used!!!

1. He is too serious for a bond character
2. Very unfriendly bond
3. His fighting skills are too martial like. Bond na lazy fighter. Na sense e take dey win fights.
4. All the bond characters look alike except him. Meaning we have this impression that Shawn, Roger, timothy, Pierce all look alike. But this your Craig looks too wafi guy like for James Bond.

I have been praying for d day they will change him.


I need my Bond back. And I will hold you responsible.

Daniel Craig is more a reflection Sir Ian Flemings portrayal of the character than Pierce Brosnan was. Moreover, one would expect a man who exists in the shadows world of espionage, terrorists and anarchists to be hard, deadly with a dry sense of humour.

Daniel Craig is the better James Bond. He brought James Bond into the the reality that's the 21st Century.

bond is a spy and Craig doesn't act like one... like someone said he's too serious .. pierce all the way
