Nigeria should be discouraging international airlines from flying into multiple destinations in Nigeria. They should be forced to enter partnerships and code shares with Nigerian airlines to encourage our local airlines. For example, arik can take a dubai bound passenger from kano to lagos and emirates will fly the passenger out to dubai. Emirates books the passenger all the way to kano, and shares the ticket cost with arik. Conversely, arik or other nigerian airlines should be encouraged to fly from kano instead of foreign airlines. Thats what they do in USA too to encourage local airlines. Our leaders are clueless and this is a daft move in my opinion
