@ Doudi_a, That's fine. Unfortunately, that code you gave me did not work. The problem is that Access SQL syntax is slightly different from the standard ANSI SQL. As a result, a SQL statement that works in Oracle or DB2 may not work in Access. Test it in Access 2000 if possible and let me know if it works. |

BizBooks, I did an example in Access 2000 and it is working fine for me. http://www.4shared.com/file/176494895/1cd3213e/Database1.html I wish this is exaclty what you want: Inside the queries object you will find Query1 using it i am updating the prices table according to your criteria. As more info: 1. You need to create a Query Using the Query Design 2. You need to select the required field for this query 3. You need to select the Update option 4. in the Update To field you should put something like this: IIf([Prices]![Prices]=50,100,IIf([Prices]![Prices]=150,200,IIf([Prices]![Prices]=250,300,400))) The iif syntax is something like this IIf (exp, truepart, falsepart), so in the above example all the values not listed in your conditions will take 400 as value, so you should make sure to list all values. @ Doudi_a, The code worked perfectly. Now, your query has one table but mine has two. This is because the values of the prices to be updated are derived from another table. For instance, I want to update the Price column of table1 with the Price column of table2. How do I do that? Also the prices are not exact, like 50, 100 etc. I will have to replace the equal sign with greater than and less than. So instead of: IIf([Prices]![Prices]=50,100, Will this work?
