Meliforme: There are many considerations some subjective some objective, some fair some unfair and of course there is corruption and sharp practices. Football agent's create a whole range of manipulations as well. Nonetheless, quality always rises and good players adapt to requirements needed. For instance if you are not hard working ,have huge amounts of stamina with a good degree of physicality, the Burnley manager Dyche will not consider you. Each team and Manager has a preference for a particular type of player. But in in general quality of players always overcome. But if you lack quality it will become very evident within a short term in this very short term career. |

Eguavoen mentioned he has not watched him play and i am..is this man been truthful to himself, this is a chap that plays for one of the biggest club in Holland, play in Europa, score goals and a national team technical director says he does not know how he plays...We are in a for a long thing...thank God he leaves after Afcon back to his previous post. dijon: Actually when you say scores goals Dessers is in the Eredivisie but he is not outstanding in that league. About 14 game's and 4 goals. He has only played 90 minutes once he is normally a sub in his club he is not in outstanding.

dijon: This man deliberately omitted the foreign born players when he compiled the initial list Just imagine his lame excuse for technical director not to be knowledgeable of how a super eagle player who plies his trade in Holland top league plays. I said some of us here are more knowledgeable than many of this ex internationals who are too lazy to even use YouTube and Google to abreast themselves And this is the man Goodjoe have been defending all over. Goodjoe have been assuming all this while dude may not be that knowledgeable sef Glad pinnick already opted for a foreign coach 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Jamie Vardy started playing non league football at age 17/18 he did not have any pedigree or national youth call up, to anchor his career upon . He fought his way playing kick and rush until he was recognised. In 2010 he was playing non league scored 25 goals and Leicester paid £1million for a non league player a club and non league record fee at the time in 2012. Leicester where in the Championship then and in 2014 his goals got them into the EPL. He has been at Leicester for over 10 years and has been there number one goal scorer since. Can his meteoric rise in any way have any kind of comparison with your Nwakali. One achieved against all odds and the other failed with all the help given to him including UNJUSTIFIABLE call up to the national team. TheGoodJoe your are making yourself look like you are lacking understanding with this emotive quest and hype around Nwakali. 3 Likes |

Danielnino00: It is the fault of both coaches. Rohr failed by omitting Dessers from the initial list. Eguavoen came in and was not interested in the player. If Eguavoen was interested in the guy he would have put him in once news came out that Osimhen would miss out. 1 Like |

Danielnino00: U didn't comprehend what I wrote You should have asked nah I said he ommitted the foreign born players not Dessers players like Akpos, Bassey,Ebuehi when the first list was released remember me, subzero etal raised the issue then And now from the rumour on willingness of pinnick to pay the fine to have Dessers in the team.... your coach says he does not and have never watch Dessers play Me that is not a member of the coaching crew I know Dessers and I have watched him play here you have a Technical Director who have not watch him play...it means the reason for leaving out some of thjs players in the initial list is because he does not even know or have watched them play. That shows how knowledgeable he is Shekina hope you understand na 3 Likes |

humility33: He didn't omit their names out of dubious intentions... He omitted it because they aren't core members of the team..And whose fault is that ? How many games did the aforementioned players play together under Rohr for them to be considered key members of the squad? the only player whose inclusion I'll fault is Ndah for Akpogunma, but again was Akpogunma a key member of the team under Rohr? You are just looking for a way to blame the man..What he has done is what is normally done in many teams.. When a new coach take over a team, it is uncommon to see him overhaul the squad immediately. He usually stick with the core members of the team, because overhauling the squad at such a short notice could spell disaster.. Let the man rest... 3 Likes |

drDoom3: Onyekuru who replaced Osimhen has been a long term member of the squad for longer than Desser..Heck, I'm sure even Olayinka has played more minutes than Desser. Whose fault is it if not Rohr's? Believe it or not, you would have done the same thing if you were in Eguavon's shoe. He has very little time to prepare the year for the tournament. Not enough friendlies to try out new players,so it's better to stick with those who are already part of the team. I want Dessers in the team too, because aside his good form, he is also very passionate about playing for Nigeria, and we can be assured that he would put in maximum efforts on the pitch, but I won't join in slandering Eguavon for a situation he didn't create... 3 Likes |

drDoom3:Didn't Everton apply for work permit for onyekuru under the special talent clause? How come he never got it? Anyway, the point is that the reason Nwakali did not play for Arsenal is that he had no work permit, not because he was so horrible in training that he could not be played (which anyone who's unaware of the work permit issue will assume from that statement). 1 Like |

humility33:Oga humility, just give Eguavoen little respect. He is the coach and has every right to decide who he wants to work with.....how I wish you can stop this foreign born of a thing, they are all Nigerian for God sake. Sir,only a dropped Akpoguma would have made it if Rohr is still in charge.....pls what do you want Eguavoen to do after injury to Shehu he called Ebuehi,so what a fuss about this foreign born.....I want Dessers too but not a big deal if Eguavoen doesn't rate him cos Rohr too didn't rate him.....let him continue doing his best, post Afcon still on the way. Emotionally am not happy he is not in the team, not cos of football reasoning but being a Belgian and preferred to play for Nigeria. Good Pinnick went for a foreign coach but I want to tell you that Peseiro is not better than Austin Eguavoen,Samson Siasia,Finidi George and Emma Amuneke, apart from being white, damn sorry to sound like a racist. 7 Likes |

komekn: Based on your analysis, if a player has not made it at 23 years, he has no chance. So why are you preaching on meteoric rise of Vardy, as if it is only Vardy that can have a meteoric rise after his early 20s. You are the one with emotive bias here. Trying to paint a stall in a player's career as a failure when the player can still turn it around. That is how you did the same with Iheanacho and Osimhen and failed woefully. You try to kick people when they are down, forgetting your negative views of them is not their destiny. Change my brother. You are filled with so much bias and hatred. You pray and wish people that are facing challenges fail. 3 Likes |

komekn:I'm surprised you're saying this about Vardy, but we have the benefit of hindsight now so it's easy to explain his rise and success. How come you keep asking why Sadiq is still in Segunda if he is that good even though we see his stats season after season? Isn't it very likely that a team in a top league will snap him up? Doesn't he have a chance to rise just like Vardy did? Like Thegoodjoe said, you seem to just write off people when they're going through a bad patch. Except there's something I'm not getting. 10 Likes |
