Humility017: Anichebe's problems started with his first major injury fractured leg in a game. He was a lot closer to Yak who was probably a lot more friendlier with the young Nigerian origin players in Everton. He then started to beef up with muscle bulk almost trying to replicate the Yak. All that muscle has resulted in never ending injury issues. When he plays unstoppable but unfortunately he doesn't play much injury upon injury very sad. |

I was replying to your earlier mention of Onomah and co. I was just saying Aluko is older, and as regards the likes of Onomah, how many youngy we wan carry go world cup? Realistically, I don't think half of them can dislodge current SE players.. but well let's not have another round of argument on that. Back to Aluko, he wasn't impressive in the EPL, but I agree he gave a good account of himself in SE colors. If he's not got a recall, it's simply because I thin Rohr does not consider the Championship as a top league. How many players has he gone for in the Championship? Aina's case is different. We all know he had a couple games for Chelsea before he was loaned. komekn: |

Humility017: They should be invited now go to camp play a few friendlies and let's see who is best or better. You need a squad of at least 35 quality players to pick your final 23 from. There will be drop outs before the WC 2018 injury and loss of form, etc. But let's not be sentimental let the best players go. For instance irrespective if what Echiejile has done he for me is a very weak link. A link that any top team will exploit to our detriment. In this regard I looked at Seyi Ojo to be a left back who can play left wing and left sided midfield depending on formation, if the need arises. |

Joebie: He Aluko was impressive on Hull for a essentially a kick and rush team. Was voted as one of the best players in the championship. Fulham narrowly missed out on promotion. He went to Reading for £ 7.5 million that's a big price tag for a 28 year old. Onomah has played more games for Tottenham than Aina has played for Chelsea. In front of Onomah are World class midfielders such as Wanyama, Sissoko, Dembele, Dier, Lamela, Eriksen, etc Onomah has played nearly all games this season for Villa where he is on loan scoring twice. Very effective and disciplined midfielder with great vision and and a good passing ability. He is the anchor man for Englands U21. Even scored a wonder goal for England. 4 Likes |

TheGoodJoe talking about Rohr inviting a pool of players for camping before the world cup.. Who to invite is still a problem o.. I've tried to put together an encompassing pool. I know somebody will still complain his player is missing.. That kind arrangement go cause confusion for camp hahaha oya take a look at this: 2 Likes 1 Share

komekn:that's a nice one... sir...bringing in this players to displace the present SE players will not make good for our system... I understand....you dont make selections base on sentiments...but sometimes you do things for posterity sake...why displace those players who labored to get the qualification ticket for young blood...who are only at same par.... onomah is no way better than Mikel, etebo. likewise he can't offer defensively like onazi and ndidi and even mikel agu.... so he should be called up after the world cup....and not now... right now...we need good and hungry defenders and strikers... |

Joebie:you tried...but I see you putting in some players just to please some persons here.... you and I know...some of those players you put their names up there won't smell SE invitation let alone make the world cup provisional list. |

that's why I used the word encompassing. No matter how hard I try, somebody's player will still be missing.. So it's impossible to please everybody. Just trying to fault the pool idea.. Humility017: |

He wasn't impressive in the EPL by level standards. It's just like making excuses for Iheanacho now. I know you wouldn't do that.. Like I said I don't think Rohr's radar is in the Championship. Just my feeling though. komekn: |

Mickael2: Do you think Lugo can get promotion to the laliga? Azeez almost joined Swansea but Almeria blocked him, and when he tried to see out his contract, they demoted him to the feeder team for the whole season until he gave in to renew his contract. http://thelightnews.com/almeria-blocking-ramon-azeez-epl-move/ 1 Like |

To be sincere, if we were to give 4 slots to each position, I think all the players deserve to be there based on what we have available. There are still some slots to spare.. Not to say the players are all that good. Humility017: |

DrKlever: Good. You don't need to fancy any player in category 2. If I have my way, Ighalo or Martins in category 1 Kayode Olanrewaju in category 2 and Tammy Abraham in category 3. If Tammy Abraham is not available then Iheanacho. |

TB, do you know something we don't know? Has the NFF released the invite list for Algeria? Or are you making these projections without even knowing who would be invited? As regards to your projections, I will expect to see Aina, Etebo, and Ogu start, but I am not too sure about Ebuehi and Onyekuru. Ebuehi may come off the bench though. And something tells me that Awazien might start that game. Mark my words. O pari tbaba1234: |

forgiveness: they have not only been very good at home, they have also been very good away. There second game I watched was away to Barcelona B(I was watching the game because of some Barca academy players tbh), I thought it was a sure win for Barca and Barca scored first, somehow they turned it and won the game in the last 5minutes. Their last match too against Alcocorn was away from home and they put in a solid performance, it's not like they were lucky. For 90mins they held their own and nicked it again at the death, I think they may be the best team in the division which is why I said they would hold Gent. With Swansea's recent poor form, buying that guy should be one of their easiest decisions right now |

Baba, I was just making projections sha .... I couldn't find any sources But I think you may correct that the other countries are to be potted according to their confederations, after the top 8 seeds. I don't know how I feel about that tho; in theory, it ought to favor Nigeria but you gotta reckon with all the politics and manipulations in FIFA. They might cease that opportunity to manipulate the draws. O pari Icon4s: |

Joebie: I have a had a lot of heated discussion on this topic. Belgium league is rated 8, Turkish 10 and the Dutch 11. The Bundesliga for me is characterised by the complete dominance Of Bayern followed by Dortmund. It's not as competitive as the EPL in my opinion. With regards to the Belgium league it's a lot easier to score goals because again its not as competitive as the EPL. Consider how many top World class players play in the Belgium and Turkish leagues and how many in the EPL. That's another indicative yardstick for quality. When we then get to the European Champions league everyone raises thier game just like the English FA cup. Tottenham played Real Madrid and it was a draw they could have won the game. But over all Tottenham is not better than Real Madrid. In this regard I rate the English championship better than the Belgium, Austrian, Dutch and Turkish leagues. That doesn't mean there are not quality players thier but they would have to be the best in that league to be considered top quality. For instance Dele Alli, Gomez, Ademola, Galleries all left league 1 straight to the premiership. If that's Rohr view that the championship is not good enough quality then he is very mistaken and out of touch. The championship is the first stepping stone to the EPL. Oliver Burke left Nottingham forest fc to Liepzig in the Bundesliga, who are currently number three in the Bundesliga currently. If you are a top player in the championship you are ready for the EPL. And if a team is struggling in the EPL after relegation and season later. You will be in League one. That's the story of Wigan, Bolton, Wolves and many others. Consider Sunderland after being relegated from the EPL last season are now at the bottom of the Championship in the relegation zone. It shows the depth of competition in the English championship. 1 Like |

Joebie: Yes, the guy has even come out to tell the whole world that he would still invite her to future games if need be. I think this whole issue started from the coach overlooking her and then some new dimensions were added, nothing serious really |
