Going to England was a bad move for his development. He had only spent a season in Spain. TheGoodJoe: 1 Like |

komekn: What I had in mind when I made that comment was, there's no one player in the current eagles' squad who's style is close to that of Martins, if not Success. Wasn't calling for his inclusion, it's really unfortunate he's finding things hard at the moment. Ighalo was to Isaac at watford what Yaks was to Anichebe at Everton. 1 Like |

Kog45: When Argentina beat us for replay why dem no count am as match fixing? Ok, did the referee wanted the match to end 4:1? How was the 4 goals scored? Was there referee's impute in those goals or were they clean goals? Was the Argentina national team involved in the magomago? Then why was it so hard for them to believe to the extent they demanded for rematch? Based on these I don't think there was any match fixing on the side of referee because he we scored 4 clean counter attacks goals. 1 Like |

Ndidi and Troost-Ekong are two players I can't remember getting any injury both for club and country since they began playing for the Super Eagles.... Shehu Abdullahi too These three either have some really great bones or avoid tackles... The latter is obviously not it. I think the other players should talk to them about their diets, perhaps that's the secret 6 Likes |

Joebie: I do not think going to England was a bad move as such. He worked with sound managers like Quique Sanchez Flores and Walter Mazarri. He came to a competitive environment but I think Success first dream was to become rich and as soon as he sealed the Watford deal, he was satisfied he made it. I think that caused the distraction and also affected his work ethic. I hope he comes to the realization that he has the potential to become a great player and make use of the opportunities around him. 2 Likes |

I did not watch the game between Leicester City and West Ham yesterday which ended 1-1. I found it strange that Claude Puel chose to make only two changes when the game was 1-1 in the first half. Made me do some digging and found he is not an attacking coach. Not the kind of Coach I want Iheanacho playing under. Why Southampton sacked Puel There was dissatisfaction from Southampton fans about his so-called ‘negative’ defensive tactics and Southampton did score only 41 goals in 38 Premier League games. In fact, they failed to score in their last five home games of the season. Rumours continued throughout the season that the players were not happy and there were stories of training ground rows and arguments about his squad rotation policies. It should also be pointed out that while Southampton finished eighth, they were sixth the season before under Ronald Koeman and enjoyed a poor Europa League campaign under Puel. In his 53 games as Southampton boss, they won 20 games, lost 20 games and drew 13. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/claude-puel-new-leicester-manager-11409367 |

TheGoodJoe: Football is a competitive race. When you slow down or break down and or get delayed for whatever reason. You get over taken. There will be boys who are working night and day for an opportunity to show thier ability. He could be overtaken. Add to that the this other issue which reflects life. It takes years to build up a good reputation and relationships. It takes a day to destroy them. Success has a far from good reputation in the club from both present and past managers. In this regard if he doesn't want to be a waste man he has to humble himself and change the perception he has given of himself. That will not be easy. It would be better for him to go on loan fresh start and prove himself and get called back. If he goes to a Championship side scores 20 goals he will be back in the first team. That in itself is far from easy. 1 Like |

komekn: If Success scores 20 goals in the Championship, it is not convincing enough to believe he can compete with Richarlison. Richarlison is the problem. He is a machine. I say Success toughen up, work on his speed, change his diet, develop insane discipline and give Richarlison a run for his money. Marco Silva will give Success his chance if he shows improvement in training. It is a tough call but it will get the best from Success. |

komekn: At the end, it falls back to Success' drive and motivation to get back in form and favor with the manager. I also hope Marco Silva has not cut Success from his plans. These Spanish coaches like disciplined players. |
