mank1234: One of the things I marvel at is the presumptuous negative deductions made but without a shred of under pining evidence. Particularly in the context of team cohesion. Unless you are in that dressing room day in day out and even with that it's still not conclusive. You can not make that kind of deduction with regards to Enyeama and Martins. With regards to Enyeama I know him to be a Christian of unquestionable integrity and very down to earth and humble. If he has any faults he hates injustice with a passion. So I'm sorry you are talking absolute balderdash. Furthermore, you can actually play with players who hate you and you them. Yet still put in top class performances. 1 Like |

safarigirl: I addressed the issue in the main and not your person. It's an open forum if you don't want criticism constructive or otherwise dont comment. So I will enjoin you to address the issues and not evade from it. Don't be so emotive. On the other hand when Nigeria play England soon and very soon. I will buy you a drink not sure whether it will be at Wembley or Trafford Park yet. But the drinks are on me whatever the location. In terms of football circle I probably know more Nigerian national coaches and full international players than you can imagine. If you recall or have forgotten too, I actually went to watch Etebo in Warri stadium. I do believe my circle is wide and not limited to just England although it's my main area of speciality without doubt. Being here is light humour for me and sometimes interesting playful past time. With regards to luck I do not believe I am lucky at all. I am a entirely blessed because it's unexplainable by rational. So I consider my network 100% absolutely the favour of God. That makes me humble. I'm now personalising the issue so you will not be so deeply offended. You probably never come across me or me you, but there is no intention to offend as you clearly are. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

somehow: May God reward you richly for this post. I have said this severally concerning Sunday Oliseh. He has his own methods. I can relate to his style of leadership because discipline is key. If you know where you are going, the whole world steps aside. It is when people dont value you that they start to question your moves. Its something I experience most times and I laugh at people because they just want things done in a way that you dont compromise relationships. I say to hell with whatever relationship will mar my productivity. What Oliseh did at Fortuna Dusseldoff was to remove any iota of player power which lately seems to be the order of the day in world football. I would rather have players who are loyal to my ideas and ideals than players who have a different philosophy or question every decision I make. You may not know this, but thats how dissension starts in a team. I hear a lotta people talk about man management. Truth be told, human beings are one's greatest asset and also they are one's greatest problem. Its all about serving the right purposes. If someone wont serve my purpose, there is no way we would get along. Especially because when things go wrong, my name comes first. Lets recap a little.... Oliseh never lost a competitive qualifiers thus callin him names regarding the Afcon loss is a bit unfair. The chief culprit is Siasia who drew at home and lost away to Egypt. But what does the narrative say now? OLISEH FAILED TO QUALIFY NIGERIA FOR AFCON. We know the rest of the story. 2 Likes |

Eseose9: That is not a comment of comparative logic. The issue raised was in response to her comments that why did Obagoal with all his money not pay inducement to get into Keshi's SE team. I then explained Obagoal is not desperately hungry or needed a call up to the SE to give his career a boost and or credibility. . In comparison to players who are in backwater leagues and almost anonymous. Furthermore, he Obagoal would have considered it an affront to have to settle before playing for the SE. So Oniovo that is not logic. |

Magink:I remember he said it on Channels TV that he doesn't read Nigerian newspapers. That's bad but considering the undisguised spin jobs these guys do for players especially at a time like this, I would do the same were I to be in his shoes. If it were to be a naija coach in charge everything would have dabaaru. They would fill the team with wafers and we'd go to the WC and get chewed by Argentina, Croatia and the Norsemen. 1 Like |

komekn: The last paragraph suggest that football is more an individual sport than team sport. He didn't turn the other cheek in the face off with Oliseh so let's not whip religious sentiments there. Does it mean that civil servants should not serve the public again because they're being owed their wages? Or which injustice are you referring to? I specifically pointed out how we missed 2006 world cup in subsequent post. That's what indiscipline and arrogance can do to a team. Talent is not enough. Learn to argue your points without personal attack. |

Humility017:Just say you don't want Martins because this your Ighalo yarns get as ee be. When I argued against the inclusion of Martins I based it entirely on my sentiments and I said so. Your attempt to rationalise why Ighalo will be invited and not Martins when both of them play in China, have almost the same goalscoring stats, when Ighalo has not scored a single goal with his head for us makes your points one kind, one kind Bro. Ighalo is not one known to be good with his head. Since Adepoju and maybe Agali we've not had any player that it can be said that that player is good with his head. None! Better to argue against his inclusion on the grounds of team spirit but not this points above. They ain't valid. 2 Likes |

Mujtahida: please remind me how he scored the 3rd goal against the cameroonians in the last friendly we played in Brussels... ighalo earned his super eagles call base on his exploit in the epl sometime ago....and since then...he has not dip in form in the eyes of the super eagles team handlers..... some of you don't know...that players rating by coaches go beyond their performance in the field of play.... Mister training performance is also inclusive....ebuehi has never kicked a ball besides the Corsica friendly dude still gets invitation every now and then...reason because of what rohr sees in training...... so you keep....your lame reason for not wanting martins to yourself....but as for me...dude is not better than the players we currently have in the super eagles... |

Petrobros:Oh for mentioning forgiveness,my man normally i would say SORRY if i offend any moniker through my comments and move on cos with my age i don't think i should be here having issues on top football. As i said am here to learn and share information and my love for a team i have been following since 1980.If I post a comment I know what am doing and not to mock or ridicule any moniker. My comment on that post is simple and easy to understand.Great guys like Joebie, junnyake,Mujtahida, tbaba1013,Goke7,goldfish80 etc do post news here for us to read but have never seen them post a news to mock or ridicule any gentle monikers. The post was targeted at forgiveness and it was glaring.Mind you i don't care if it's forgiveness cos it can be anybody and i will still say the same thing. We are free to express ourselves but we should not believe it was just a forum, let me say whatever i like,no is not done that way.We should all remember something brought us here which is the love for super eagles, then why are we always take offence on simple matter that can be resolved amicably.. With due respect my man am not here to gang talk anybody down based on his choice of player or his contrary view to my analysis.Honestly am here to gather information through you guys cos is valuable. My comment was not to defend forgiveness but to let the poster know that he can't post a news to taunt anyone but for us to read and discuss. If mentioning forgiveness is my offence am indeed sorry not to defend him but to correct the poster. Thanks and God bless. 1 Like |

Mujtahida:Exactly man! I mean if he's saying Ighalo has better qualities and this same Ighalo is benching Nacho, why not compare Nacho qualities to that of Martins. What does Nacho bring as a 9 that Martins can't offer?? The only valid excuse for not inviting Martins is sentimental(i.e disruptive presence in the dressing room, etc) but it can NEVER be based on ability. That is fact. Martins is a better 9 than Nacho at the moment. I'll continue to say it. 1 Like |
