edi287:I only blame Rohr for not getting it right with the correct tactics when defending corner kicks. It makes me wonder the purpose of the camping in Austria. That said, the team picked itself today, if we are honest. Nigerians still haven't realized how much overhyped these players are. Fighting this over hype is the main reason I'm in the black books of many people here. 2 Likes |

In this darkness that is called Nigeria the SE hold the little candle of light: now that light is flickering In this frustrating, joyless country the SE offer us joy: will that joy be taken away from us too? This defeat reminds us of all our failures as a nation:No power supply, no good roads, no health care, government is against the people rather than for them, police brutalize and extort the people they are meant to protect, corruption is a way of life. The SE offers us escape from this harsh realities but not today. No momentary escape today. Chai 4 Likes |

We lost a battle not a war....The match was beyond Shehu....i continue to say it....Musa has no business in the national...he should continue with club football. Our play plan did not work....I did not see the eagles i saw against Poland,Serbia and England...what happened? We had no business playing high balls....they were taller and huger....I hope we play like NIGERIA in our next match....fast and determined.... Believe 1 Like |

Rohr got it wrong from the word Go. He thought we are still playing against African sides that is all strength and physicality. That was why he started Shehu. Not a single cross came from his side. Moses did more of defensive work than attacking today no thanks to a poor fullback. I am pissed off. 8 Likes |

We were so slow off the blocks. No urgency whatsoever, don't know why Mikel played for that long. People blaming Ighalo are not being fair as he should have been used for the Iceland match and his physicality would have been appreciated. Iwobi on the flanks today did not make sense. Shehu did not help the attack and struggled in defence. Maybe Mikel should play DM and remain there. To be honest I really did not believe we could win but to lose like this is unacceptable. They need to redeem themselves and stay off social media abeg. All this fashion and singing is for Nations cup standard. This is the world cup. I expect a response even if we do not qualify from the group. Show them them the Naija way of playing football not all these crap 2 Likes 1 Share |

You are right Boss Joseph. Today shaa.... Well.... Well Well We have it all to do now against our toughest opponent in the group, Iceland. They will be tougher than Croatia... A hard nut to crack and a team dipped in the rivers of blood and sand. They will be extremely difficult but I think we have a chance against them. The chance though is not so obvious but still, we can keep the ball more than they can and can stretch the play to open up a few tiny holes in their dreaded two layers of hardcore defensive wall... Chances will be few and we need a player who can make the most of the few half chances we will have. Ighalo must take a bow and leave the stage for Iheanacho to come in. We need goals and need to win to keep our WC dreams alive. A draw is suicidal against Iceland. Croatia is coasting. All they need now is to dominate Argentina in the middle and see off that game with a win or worse a draw. This will put more pressure on Argentina going into their last game with us. But first we must beat Iceland. This group is gonna go down to the very last minutes of the last two matches. The two qualifiers won't be known until the last games if we bounce back against Iceland with a win and Argentina fails to beat Croatia. This group is very open and promises to rbe the group where more twists and shockers will happen. This is the world cup. We are still in it as it stands. It's not yet over until it is over. joseph1013: 2 Likes |

This is what i foresee happening: We can't make it out of this group. It's all over for us. We can't beat Iceland even on our best days. And Croatia would most likely not loose to Argentina. Rohr will be sacked and we will be back to the vicious cycle of looking for another coach and trying to build another team with different set of players. 80% of the current players will be axed from the team by the new coach. There will be allegations of favouritism among officials of the glass house and a panel will be set-up to probe player-selection. Pinnick might even loose his job in the process |
