We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Web and Graphic Designer
Location: Lagos
Org Level: Entry
Job Description:
• Strong understanding of user-interface, user centered design and usability principles, as well as web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience optimizing images and web pages for optimal user experience.
• Experience creating innovative social campaign creative, dynamic display ads and mobile-friendly emails.
• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of:
o Current web mark-up or scripting languages and libraries: XHTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
o Development of HTML/CSS that matches a Photoshop design layout, and thorough understanding of how mock-ups translate to code.
o Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest, and best practices for deploying creative, text, and video on each platform.
o Deep understanding of and experience developing and promoting a strong, transformative brands.
o Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
Qualification:
• Must be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, etc.) and Corel Draw.
• B.SC/HND/OND in computer science or a related field with relevant experience.
