Cmon biina, never said you waz lying. Me says master's crossed over from the bridge of SPECULATIONS right into the field of CONJECTURES.
You have to admit that your predictions look a little wild, probable, but wild all the same. Besides which Madrid fan would want Fab back in Barca, bench or playing, after what nuclear bomb did to them in Bernabeau in 2006 along with Igwe ?

I agree with that statement. . . .Debosky must be high on weed to have said Henry wanted to win the CL.
The major reason Henry left England was because of the problem his ex-wife was giving him.
It made it easier for him to cross to Spain. As at when Henry left the GAYnners for Barcelona. . . . .Real Madrid were the King in Spain.

Don't say that jare! Arsene said he had a discussion with Henry and they came to the conclusion that he could leave because he wanted to Win the Champions' league. Henry was reported to have said that he thought the Arsenal team was capable of winning it in the future but at 28/29 he couldn't wait. Remember this story came up during the CL Semi-stage and Wenger clarified that he made an exception in the case of Henry and that if anyone said such a thing he would have said boy sit down and wait till your contract expires

There is nothing wild about it. If Cesc leaves Arsenal today, the most logical destination is Milan.

- He will only go to a  big  club (regular CL and title challenges)  in one of the top 3 leagues: EPL, La liga and Serie A
- I dont see Cesc going to a premiership club: too light weight for chelsea, not needed by ManU and liverpool no get money. ManCity is the only one left with the cash but after Robinho, they are yet to attract another word class player of Cesc quality. A UCL spot might change that.
- Only possible destination in Spain  is Barcelona (not needed by madrid and wouldnt even make first XI tongue grin) and he would be foolish to join Barca with Xavi still on the squad as that would relegate him to a bench role like he does in the spanish team.
- Only viable option is Serie A: Juve, Inter and Milan.
- Mourinho is searching for a creative midfielder, if he wanted  Cesc he would have shown interest this summer (has 50M to spend from iIbra deal and Moratti rarely shunned purchases).
- Juve have just finished revamping their squad, and under Ciro they  play a diamond midfield with Diego/Giovinco for the AM and Melo/Cissoko for the DM. There is no place for Cesc on that roster.
- Milan are starting a new phase under a new coach. They have a couple of youngsters ( Pato, Gennaro, etc) but still need to add quality in the middle of the pack. Pirlo is no longer the man he used to be, and given Chelsea's interest in the player, Cesc would be a perfect replacement if he is sold.

Unless Milan buy another young midfielder this summer, they would remain the likely destination for cesc.

Milan cant and wont even bid for him. where will thry get that kinda money?
Cesc will not go for nothing less than 45milla GBP.

As much as AW is my gaffer,he was being economical with the truth when he said all those stuff he said.
How can he come out and say that Henry left to win Silverware at Barca?
What has he been winning at Arsenal?Bronzeware
What was the guarantee that Barca would win the CL?
NONE?
In Henry's fist year, there was turmoil in the dressing room(he didnt even play much) and were beaten fair and square by Manure in the CL semis
In fact, after a bad start to his Barca career, the Barca hierachy felt Arsenal had '419ed' Barca and there were rumours he could be heading to the MLS!
A rejuvenated Barca(with a new gaffer) then went on to win the treble in the next season.
Why is AW telling us all that after Barca had won the CL?
What if Manure had beaten Barca in the finals of the CL?What will AW have said about Henry?
A Champions League win is nothing sure when a player switches clubs
Henry could not stand the media intrusion that would have followed his divorce was why he left!
All the other excuses, bla, bla, bla are smokescreen(see below)

Thierry Henry leaving Arsenal for real now
Posted by mr. simplicity | 1:32 PM News, Sports
0 comments Thierry Henry has claimed he would only have left the Emirates Stadium for Barcelona - because they play "the Arsenal way".

The France striker is on the verge of clinching a reported £16million move to the Nou Camp after finally deciding his time in north London must come to an end.

Explaining his decision to leave Arsenal, Henry told the club's official website: "I left Arsenal to go to Barcelona because, no disrespect to any other team, but there are only two teams in the world who play football the way I like it. That is the way the people here like it -- the Arsenal way."
Henry is due in Catalonia on Sunday after the two clubs agreed the terms of the deal, with the Gunners claiming that just a medical and the "completion of formalities" stand between the move taking place.

In an open letter to The Sun, published on Saturday morning, the 29-year-old claimed uncertainty over manager Arsene Wenger's future was a major factor in his decision to leave the Gunners, and also cited the departure of former vice-chairman David Dein, a close personal friend of Henry's, as another reason to quit for Spain.

Henry's apparently certain departure has come as a massive blow to the club and its supporters, who are still raking over the ashes of another disappointing season.

A fourth-placed finish in the Barclays Premiership for a second season running failed to meet expectations, while there was no consolation to be found in the cup competitions where a final defeat by Chelsea in the Carling Cup was as good as it got for Wenger's men.

But Henry believes Gunners fans have every reason to be optimistic despite his decision to jump ship, and is adamant the talent is already there to fill his sizeable boots.

He continued: "The team here is growing and there is some amazing talent here and I do think this is the right time for Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner, who is coming back from Birmingham, to shine.

"Hopefully they will do it. As soon as you know they can do it, they will forget about me, that's the way it is."

AW is talking rubbish joo! grin

How could Henry have left for Barca cos' he wanted to win UCL?How would he have been clairvoyant to know Barca will win the Champions League when they did?

A lot of factors contributed to his departure but the furore at the "home front" was a major determinant.

The same Thierry Henry who within 3 months of moving to Spain was crying his heart out that he misses his daughter and he wished he was closer to her in London; the same person left Arsenal because of what was happening on the home front?

I can see that Gaynners are feeding into self-delusion. Henry left Arsenal because the grass is greener on the other side. Whilst he is no clairvoyant, he knew there was at least a probability of UCL success and international acclaim at Barca. On the other hand the probability of UCL success with Arsenal is virtually non-existent. To hijack a phrase from the great poet Canibus, Arsenal winning the UCL is not impossible, its just highly motherfucking improbable!

5-3-2. . . . .

Sagna Gallas Senderos Song Clichy

Denilson Fabregas Nasri

Van Persie Arshavin.

I don't think so. That leaves us wide open in the middle and will choke the midfield.

You forget Nasri and Rosicky are crocked. Vermaelen has been tipped to make his debut against Everton and Djourou may not recover in time. The other option there is Silvestre grin

I think 4-3-3

A counter argument is the fact that Bendtner's height is wasted on the wing so we could also have him in the middle flanked by Arshavin on the left and Van Persie on the right.

Replace Nasri with Diaby. . . .
Wenger will not start Vermaelen just yet. . . . .He bides his time before using a new player.
Besides, don't you think Wenger is a retard?
The football world is returning back to 4-4-2 and Monsieur is about hugging 4-3-3.

ahonohai:

A counter argument is the fact that Bendtner is better up playing upfront and we could end up with something like this instead

Van Persie Bendtner Arshavin

Van Persie is useless out wide. . . . . .Only Eduardo and Arshavin can play in a 4-3-3 formation.
Bendtner and Van Persie cannot fit into that formation which begs this $64,000 question. . . .Why did Wenger sell Ade?

You are right about Diaby. . .I should adjust my formation grin

However reports state that Vermaelen will make his debut against Everton. . .Wenger is not going to keep a fit 10M pound signing on the bench.

The first line is very true. . .however nobody said Cesc was bigger than the team. He is indeed a vital member but not more important than The Arsenal. Players come and go but the culture and tradition still remain.

Only last week, Cesc said when he first came to the club he didn't understand this fact and just thought he'd joined another club. . .six years down the line he understands more about what a privilege it is to be captain of a great club like Arsenal.

Which kind of dull argument is this that was Henry clairvoyant to know Barca would win the CL?

If a player leaves West Brom for man Utd cos he wanted to win trophies would you ask if he was clairvoyant?

Players know the clubs that stand a better chance of winning laurels and everyone knows from antecedents that

Arsenal is not designed for trophies. Just pretty football
