there is no #5 or #10 sugar again, sugar starts from #20 now;
egg that used to be #20 or #25 is now #40 or #50;
and so on, and so on!
In consideration of the above, we could see that the purchasing power has actually reduced by half, meaning that the effective purchasing power of the minimum wage has been reduced to half (from #18000 to #9000)!
If the government of Nigeria is actually thinking about her citizens then #9000 suppose to be added to the current nominal value of the minimum wage (i.e., #18000 + #9000 = #27000) to give us a new minimum wage of #27000, this, at least, should return us to where APC met us
