The new coach will arrive in Barcelona on Wednesday, and he is to put pen to paper on Thursday. At exactly 1 pm on Thursday, he will begin his first press conference as Barcelona manager.

Ernesto Valverde is set for a new adventure as he begins a new era at FC Barcelona. This new era will be officially starting on Wednesday, and it starts with a photography session. It will be the very first time Valverde will be seen in a picture with the Barcelona club badge, starting at 3.30pm CET.


However, the main event will be happening on Thursday with three hours of activity. Starting at 11.30am, when he will sign his new Barcelona contract with club president, Josep Maria Bartomeu in the Camp Nou presidential box. At 11.45, his official presentation will happen, with the presence of club sports director, Robert Fernandez and Jordi Mestre.

At 12.30pm there will be another photo session, this time on the Camp Nou pitch. Finally, by 1 pm he will speak in the 1899 Auditorium at his first press conference.
