THE most wanted and notorious
kidnappers who had defied Police
arrest for over seven year now,
has been finally arrested. Sources
said the 36 years-old billionaire kidnapper
identified as Chukwudimeme
Onuamadike aka Evans who hails
from the Nnewi North LGA of Anambara
State was rounded up at his
multi-million naira mansion at Magodo
area of Ikeja Lagos on June
10, 2017 by detectives attached to
the IGP Intelligence Response Team
IRT led by ACP Abba Kyari. Evans
in years past, had reportedly laid
siege to Festac town and environs
kidnapping and collecting ransoms
from residents running into several
hundreds of millions of naira from
relations of victims before their release.
He was said to maintain kidnapping
gangs across the state of the
federation including Port Harcourt,
Bayelsa and Warri. It was further
gathered that he led a foiled attack
and kidnap of the Chairman of the
Young Shall Grow Motorsm, Chief
Vincent Obianudu in 2013. Already
the Nigeria Police Force is agog
with celebration of his arrest adding
that it had spread its dragnets with
a view to rounding up his sidekicks
