Hello Tecno crapinos..... I bought l8 lite like a month ago.... while using it on both SIMs I noticed SIM 1 just went off like that.... I've search for solutions on the internet but to no avail . I've even place a sheet of paper above the SIM card maybe... just to try before making an official complaint. I've done rebooting both simple and hard..... so if you're currently using l8 lite and you've got this kind of issue... maybe you found a way to solve yours, please help a fellow cos it important. Techno l8 lite will surely be my last tecno brand.

Why don't you switch the position of the SIMs? If SIM A had been in the slot for SIM 1, just change it to slot 2 and so on. From Settings, you can make Slot 2 to be your "Browsing SIM"

Also you can replace the offensive, non-perfoming SIM via a Welcome Pack - as if was lost and you are retaining your same No. Who knows, there could have been an error while cutting it to size

I had a similar problem with l8 plus and has been in carlcare for two months plus now. I was told to pay 27000 naira to change the board and the casing meaning there are giving you a brand new phone.

I'm just disappointed in Tecno and I think it my last Techno brand for sure.

Hurrah!!! I was able to solve the problem

I unmounted the phone myself, i was able to study every bit and piece of the supposed l8 lite. All i did was to press down the sim slot that was faulty until it seems as if it gonna break. As i put on the phone, to my amazement the faulty sim slot came back to life..... Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
