GENERAL MANAGER, MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree. Masters Degree will be a preferred plus

JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Manager will coordinate all operations including marketing, business development, administration and logistics in the company. He/She will spearhead the marketing, business development and project implementation with a view to driving up sales and meeting management objectives. He/She will train and monitor new marketers and consultant partners on innovative ideas and strategic operations for enhanced sales performance. The General Manager has access to a personal laptop, telephone and other perks. The job comes with an attractive remuneration package including mouth-watering incentives and exciting occasional travels.

KEY ATTRIBUTES
1. S/he should be very articulate with impressive writing skills and excellent communication skills. A good command of English and good diction are prerequisites. S/he should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a great motivator.
2. S/he should understand Real Estate marketing operations and be quite familiar with land sales and documentation.
3. S/he should have good knowledge of logistics and transportation
4. S/he should be dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative. Great organisational skills will be mandatory. S/he should be able to introduce ground-breaking business ideas that will boost operations to meet company’s targets
5. S/he should be well oriented in Computing & Information Technology viz-a-viz online marketing, online advertising campaign, email marking, marketing on social media e.g facebook, twitter and other popular online platforms
6. S/he should have respectable presentation skills with the ability to convince and motivate clients and new marketers
7. S/he should be well organized with ability to prioritize operations. S/he should possess time management skills and be result-oriented.
A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience is required

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate all marketing and business development operations.
2. Train and develop new marketers and consultant partners in marketing and strategic operations
3. Report sales results and departments’ performances to management on a weekly basis
4. Advise management on grey areas and present innovative actions in line with set goals
5. Prepare sales letters, proposals, Powerpoint slides, memos and other creative campaigns geared towards driving sales optimally.
6. Create sharp, compelling and innovative online campaigns by way of advertising company’s products and services on online platforms
7. Handle clients complaints and issues and grant speedy resolutions
8. Ensure operational efficiency on all tasks allotted to individual staff members and have a holistic view towards all company operations with a view towards organizational growth.
