We'll hold the door wide open for you. After you extradite the millions working in everywhere but their "native territory". The thousands who live in the north are staring bombs, knives and death eye to eye . .yet they ain't budging. What more of the millions out here in the the south who've laid solid roots in another tribe's land. You can't confine a wanderous animal. Most of you who shout Biafra don't fully grasp the gravity of separation of lands and power. So if all these . .(let me borrow the OP's words) business minded money makers get their estates: -How many others will follow. .even among yourselves y'all don't even agree on it. - And if the separation does happen and miraculously, will all these business minded people abandons their business here and just march home? Not likely. It's not as easy as it sounds. As a concept and idea, it's easy. .but in the pragmatic and practical sense, it is not. It will bring about anarchy, an even worse economic recession ,instability and unnecessary mortality. Not every great sounding idea brings about great results. .think about Napoleon. Most of you here on Nairaland talking about a separate state wouldn't even budge from the current state you're living now. .because I believe if here was so bad and uninhabitable, you would have left long ago. Nigeria might be a free nation but it is still everywhere in chains of religion, ignorance, superstition and corruption. If the root of a plant is corrupted with infection ,cutting it off or "separating" it and planting it elsewhere won't cut of the infection. .it is still there and will continue to grow. We're in a very sensitive period of chaos. .at the brim of anarchy. .yet we still look out for each other. An Ibo man in an alien country will not watch a Yoruba man in a state of distress. . and vice versa . .this is because outside the box,we still share that oneness and knowledge of self and companionship. . . I always say this- It is ignorant to let the demented angry minds of people in a different era poison the young fresh minds of people in this current era. If we break apart we have nothing left. From an observant Ibo-Yoruba lady. [/quote lol igbo yoruba my ass chinua achebe, zik and many igbos left naija back to d east in 66 after dat counter coup and lost a lot dont u dare think igbos are just all abt money u pips beta start facing reality and stop living in dreamland d hausas dat wanted to secede were stopped by d brits and usa why yorubas want one naija wit ppl dy loce to hate is just weird |

No one is forcing anybody to stay or go. As I said- we'll even open the door for you. I was just telling you the likely consequences and results if such movement is achieved. The chaos will be so much you (and even me) might not live to see it. .at the most they'll call us collateral damage. 1 Like |

CeterisXVII:Lol, thanks. I think of solutions, not problems. I just wish Nigeria does the same. Complaining, lamenting and dwelling on ideas of the past (which didn't succeed and brought about more disadvantages than advantages) never helped anyone. 1 Like |

Igbo men like women so much and irrespective of the tribes of the women, the Igbo men can marry them and as well treat them well unlike the saying that the Igbo men don't like to marry women from other tribes which a lie from the pit of he'll. For example Rochas Okorocha's mother is an Hausa woman, Gen.Ike Nwachukwu's mother is fulani and so on. |

Leez: Out of all the countries that broke off from the USSR, how many of them are relevant today? Recently, Sudan broke of into a southern half. .are both halves relevant today? How many Nigerians for example travel there? There's no need talking to a brick wall. .should that day come, good luck. Those who will outlive it will do so and those who don't will not. . No one is afraid of staying alone. Nigeria will move on no matter what. This conversation is over. 3 Likes |

Did you skip over the past where I said that the bread manufacturer propaganda was disproved? Look at the paper quality and look at the drawing of Nzeogwu's face and tell me that that was created and distributed by a 1960's Nigerian trader. Did the average Igbo man even know what Nzeogwu looked like to draw him in such detail? 4 Likes
