No, they might have cut themselves a sweet deal. Lewis was signed at 11.

dont know but the caption and chat seems a bit too real to be true, drivers dont talk that much heck they'll lose concentration but not hard to believe though those skank in the pits got their sums wrong
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by DisGuy: 11:48am On Jun 12, 2010
Canada should be interesting i watched the first practise and was think there should be 2 McLarens on the podium

now this shocked Hamilton to be on the podium
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by mystikal(m): 6:34pm On Jun 12, 2010
Hamilton in pole position
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by DisGuy: 7:23pm On Jun 12, 2010
I'd have prefer he starts from 2nd or third for some reason, so he can attack, dont want no boring race

from pole to the podium

Its real. Those are real radio communications released by the FIA. I'm a bit suspicious about the FIA's reasons for releasing that info though, seems a bit underhand; like either a way to take some heat of Red Bull or to generate more controversy (and money wink).

True, but both Red Bulls are side by side; anything could happen.
Montreal always provides maximum entertainment and horror in equal measure. We'll have a great race tomorrow. Here's some vids from older races;

1) For no obvious reason, Lewis attempts to pass "through" Kimi, loses the lead and is out of the race! grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnCsG0DlXkU&hl=en_GB&fs=1&[/flash]

2) Horror! Kubitsa crashes big time! Really deadly!

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by DisGuy: 9:44pm On Jun 12, 2010
that was a deadly crash, people forget how dangerous this sport is, thanks to the design and safety measures put in place, who would have thought a little spare part would cause so much damage to massa last year despite his helmet

and buemi's wheels coming off under him

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7D2SHDqk1E&feature=related

watch how he steers the wheels away lol

lol he was so caught up in trying to race them from the line, kimi was 'blocking' off the other guy pushing him to the right grin grin

Your nemesis! grin
Red Bulls string of 7 poll positions has come to an end. Stewards are investigating Lewis for stopping out on track though there are no rules governing that. I expect that to pass by without punishment.

Yeah, that was really funny! The car had no front wheels and had become a boat, yet there was Algesuari, busy steering around obstacles! Damn! grin grin grin grin

The other guy was Kubica. I feel both of them should have been punished (for racing in the pitlane), but only Lewis was. Everybody also conveniently forgot that Rosberg ran into Lewis too. But then the FIA was led by the goat, Max Mosley (whose father was a Nazi). Mosley didn't like Lewis (and I suspect, black people), so he alone got punished. . . Still won the World title that year though.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 2:20am On Jun 13, 2010
The race stewards have since handed McLaren a reprimand and a $10,000 fine after pole-sitter Hamilton exceeded the maximum permitted time to make it back to the pits. He had been told by his team to stop out on the circuit, as he was running low on fuel.

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 5:06pm On Jun 13, 2010
All lead cars are short fuelled, so if there's no safety car, several front runners will not finish.

of the race was something else.

Enh?! That agbaya! All he knows to do is cheat! angry
If it isn't illegal fuel or influencing the FIA, its ramming rivals off the road.

Well, the World Cup is over and the Valencia show is on!

Gossip; Ferrari and Mercedes are deploying a Red Bull style low slung exhaust system for the race. Most teams believe it is worth between 1/2 a second to a full second. McLaren are waiting until Silverstone.

Schumey is the greatest F1 driver of all time. It will take an exceptional driver to break the numerous records that he has set. You can't dominate an international sport for that long by "cheating". The man's a legend. smiley

By the way McLaren have confirmed that they will not have the updated aerodynamic Red Bull-style exhaust outlets for the next race. Red Bull have lost their chance though. Their period of dominance is over.
Lowe confirmed McLaren will not be introducing the system on the cars of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button until the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in two weeks time.

Schumi is talented no doubt, but he is very very far from being the most talented in history. In fact, at his peak, he wouldn't have cut it against phenomenal talents like Lewis or the up and coming Alguesuari. He could hardly beat Alonso; do you recall how Monaco became a parking lot for him in his last attemt to cheat before retirement? That was because Alonso was doing a better qualifying lap.

His carreer is littered with underhand tactics, outright cheating and a lot of FIA mafioso style interventions. Thank goodness F1 is now rid of the nazi, mad Max Mosley --crosses self-- ; we can now see races as they truly pan out and accurately evaluate each drivers talent, a truely dark era in F1 came to a close with his ejection from the FIA. Rosberg is now roundly trouncing him in such a way that makes you wonder, where has all Michaels "talent" gone?

This is the most unbiased article of his controversies you will ever find (others are much worse and scathing) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Schumacher#Controversy
