‎*Kwara State PDP Backs Barr. Kabir Usman for NPS, Disown Advertorial Supporting National Chairmanship Aspirants.*

The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples' Democratic Party ‎today dis-associated the State Executive Committee from an advertorial declaring support for some National Chairmanship Aspirant.

In a statement issued by Alhaji Illiyasu Ibrahim on behalf of the party, the State Executive Committee declared that "we are yet to decide on whom to support until exhaustive consultations between our leaders and other zones are concluded. We shall however abode by the decision of the National Caretaker Taker Committee as regards all positions zoned to the South.

Speaking further, Alhaji Illiyasu disclosed that "Kwara delegates will abide by micro zoning of the North Central to vote Barr. Kabir Mohammed Usman from Kogi State"

Following this development, the action of the Kwara State Chapter of the party puts to effective‎ aspiration of other aspirants who's ambition falls outside the decision reached by the Zonal caucus of the party and ratified by leaders and elders of the party in the zone.
