Some women think all a man needs his sex and nothing more. A common man may need just that but not Samson, Samson needs the romance BADLY. He needs the gentle touches, soft kisses, gentle massages and admiration. He needs to be treated like a baby at home. He wants you to sing in his ears the same way you

Oh my, my my!!! Wow...where do I begin?

I clicked on your thread cause I had written several months ago (before I had deactivated) about Samson (his relationship to Christ, special "calling" on his life, his weakness that led to tragedy...yet the mercy, forgiveness, and power of God in his life and the promise of Samson's eternal salvation)...cause so many spiritual nuggets can be gleaned from his story,
But this here looks like a blatant attempt to twist the scriptures in order to send a subliminal message to what "women" have a responsibility to do. Or perhaps a case of "culture" transcending spirituality"...which is unfortunate.

SO much was said in this thread...and I highlighted much of it cause I had wanted to address it all. But I may just have to sum it all up.

A partnership includes "two" people (with two people being held accountable for their actions) however, God has given the man responsibility over the woman... (not in an abusive, sexist, perverse or dictatorial manner...which is what we see in today's modern society).
There is certain level of responsibility that the "man" is accountable for.
The story of Samson was NOT about a woman needing to do what "Delilah" did in order to "keep a man"..... (and I'm sure you know that).
The story wasn't even really about Delilah....

We can only look to the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden....and the fact that although Eve yielded to temptation and also tempted her husband to do so...God called for Adam first.
Now I'm quite familiar with the term "feminist"...and although I do believe in human beings being treated equally, I am not one.

Just a little tidbit here: A woman cannot spend her entire life monitoring, worrying, stressing out about what she can do in order to "keep a man".
Two people that love each other will equally work to please each other...and there will ultimately be peace...even with a few bumps that may come.
